Are there a lot of hackers now in the crypto's world ? I mean, it a place not totally safe, because of it's quit new.  Do you think hackers can change the crypto economy for their own benefit ?
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Welcome to the forum! Wondering why you are having this question with your second post here. Anyway asking is good thing if you are getting started with something.  Smiley

Hackers are everywhere and believe me we have seen huge threads about the people who has been victim of these people. Some said their private keys were stolen, some had their tokens stolen and they did not even know about it after they got into their wallets, or there had been big cases where the exchanger itself got hacked billions of worth tokens were stolen.

So yeah they are there and they are using the crypto hacks for their own benefits. Once you start reading by you will come to various cases who got victimised with hacks. Keep all safety measures with you like storing the privates keys safely, watching out for the phishing attempts and much more.

i think you did not get the point,
he asked about 'it is safe ?' and 'could they change the crypto economy for their own benefit ?'
and in my opinion the answer are no and yes.
No,cryptosphere is not a safe place for people who know nothing about computer security.no matter how good it is,we can not change the fact that it has a hole or bug.
that is why many people get hacked because of those hole or bug.

Yes,they can change it if they want.
because cryptosphere is a digital place, which mean they are an expert in this field.
for example, they stole coin from the exchange massively and because of that the price dumped significantly.

Crpytocurrency been here for almost 10 years yet bitcoin is created on 2009 since we are talking about hackers then i would say that even cryptomarket doesnt exist hackers would be always there on where there are really people who do have such activity just for the sake on getting easy money in all sorts using up their extraordinary skills when it comes on cracking anything in online world this is why as an investor we should really set out the most secure habit on our accounts or holdings.Everything on this digitalized world would really have the risk.

It is possible and the treat post by the hackers should not be taking likely. I think cryptocurrencies community need more security and we need more governments involvements to be able to finance the security of blockchain technology.

Your question is like asking are there thieves in the world? Off course thieves are around and everywhere in the world. My simple answer for OP is that as far as you are in the drive to make money, fraudulent people including hackers are everywhere trying to cheat others.

My advise is, don't expose your secret codes to anyone or in the forum. They are your private business, so guide jealously.

First of all you need to realize that cryptocurrencies aren't being hacked! The exchanges are.
The most essential feature of cryptocurrency is its robustness. You are its sole owner and you have all the responsibility. Nobody can steal it from you. All these huge hacks happen because the software made by private companies isn't as robust and they are totally careless about the cryptocurrency in their possession.
Last year a Korean exchange was hacked and admitted they had 5 hot wallets that held a very large amount of money and all 5 were cleaned. How can you have millions of dollars on hot wallets without anyone watching them and manually confirming withdrawals? How can you have 5 hot wallets active at once? Some people are asking for trouble and you are only safe if your money is managed by you.

If you know how to control yourself avoid shady deals ,good to be true deals then your good to go. Don't click links that anyone gives you. Don't rashly put your important passwords or any important words that may cost you a lot example passwords, emails, etc.

Actually there are not lots of hackers, but rather there are many scams and phishings. I don't know if anyone has been hacked and his coins were stolen so far. They are usually personal cases.

of course there are always thieves which are included in the digital world that is usually dubbed hacker, they take advantage of negligence of us all, we must be more careful facing this because I see many people lose their tokens due to phishing so do not just open the links you find in email or anywhere else

Yes, there's a lot. Until now, I can't quite comprehend how some hackers managed to steal my dummy accounts in crypto exchanges and gambling sites. The good thing is they haven't accessed my emails YET, since they are still requesting for access on these dormant accounts that haven't been used for almost 4 years. One thing I learned in protecting your crypto-related accounts: don't use the same, generic password for all of them. There's a good chance for these people to steal all your information easily by using the same passwords on different websites that you might have used. Also, avoid pop-up links, or links that redirect you to some other shady alley if necessary. I personally use RedirectDetective and WhereGoes to know where would the link go to once I clicked on them.

where there is a big money , thieves are planning for it , cryptocurrency is like the big money , and more tasty for thieves and hackers coz it is harder to track and easier to move , so better see your footstep place before you put your foot on it.

The safety of your wealth is in your own hands until you decide to rely on a third party to secure your funds. It is pretty risky here in the cryptocurrency world, to avoid loss from hackers or such, avoid using new exchanges, use only well known, highly secured exchanges. In the past, there have been numerous incidents of exchanges getting robbed, private keys or tokens stolen from wallets. So it is quite dangerous if proper measures for security are not taken.
Yes, once the hackers do rob lots of virtual currencies, they can manipulate the prices for their own benefit.

I think the hacker is just looking for a profit, but to change the crypto is not possible, instead the hackers are happy with krypto progress to create an opportunity to rob

There are lots of hackers in crypto, and the numbers of them will rise much since it is easy to steal money from people in crypto, and vulnerabilities of smart contracts led to millions of dollars loss.

Cryptocurrency that uses a system of blockchain is the system of financial management based on the arrangement of the blocks of binary code. So, I think for the crack it requires expertise in getting to know the binary code. ( this is just my opinion)

Money interests hackers. $670,000,000 in cryptocurrency stolen during Q1 of 2018. That is 40% of the overall $1,700,000,000 stolen since 2011.

As far as I am existed on bitcoin world, i havent seen or read any hacked system or account on bitcoin, and so far, i consider it safe. I dont think they can change the bitcoin economy just by hacking because i believe that it would be noticed by some computer genius member of this group also.

When money is involve, greedy people are always there to trick people and unfortunately crypto currency is not exempted. I can say that its not safe here in crypto currency but there are so many ways to avoid and prevent those hackers to access your wallet or account. Hackers can change the crypto economy once they get those funds in a big exchanges for their own benefit

Of course there's a lot of hackers that victimized crypto investors because cryptocurrencies have a value that can be traded to fiat currency and anything valuable will always caught the attention of hackers. But we can not say that cryptocurrency world is not a safe place, it is only not safe for those people who don't have enough knowledge on how to protect their cryptocurrencies by themselves. If you know how to secure your investment then it will be perfectly fine.
Do you think hackers can change the crypto economy for their own benefit ?
I don't think so, if there is a better system security on every cryptocurrency exchange and services, and if all people will learn how to secure their devices where their cryptocurrency investments and private keys are stored, hackers won't be able to hack and stole any amount of cryptocurrency on anyone.
