Could you share your Cryptonight V7 hash rate? Including if possible software and driver version.

My results:

R9 Nano Fury - driver 16.3.2 - xmrig-amd:  450 H/s per card
2x CPU Xeon E5-2690 V1 (20 threads active) - xmrig - 800 H/s

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Xmr-stak is and has been v7 updated for a few days now. All my CPUs made the block transition without a hiccup (unlike my GPUs, which all went offline)...

I have some i5 5575r and i7 5775r running at:

i5--325 (drop of around 25-30 since switchover)
i7--525 (drop of around 100 since switchover)

but my earnings don't seem to have changed, early days so hard to tell for sure...

CryptonightV7 and old Cryptonight are basically the same same hashrate across any of our systems that I've tested on so far.  Cryptonight-Heavy (Sumokoin) is going to be noticeably lower hashrate for all systems due to the changes made for that variation.

To the OP - you should get about double that hashrate with a Fury GPU, even at stock settings and -50% power limit I get 700-800 hashrate depending on worksize and intensity. Check the AMD config file that XMR Stak generates and see if they have it messed up. I know that the version that came with Nicehash Legacy (latest alpha version) had terrible settings by default for 2 different Fury X GPUs. Try 1024 and 8 for a start and see what hashrate that gives you.

I am getting around 930H/s with my threadripper 1950x on CrytoNightV7 via xmr.  I was getting over 1200H/s before the update.  Anyone know what I can do to get my hash rate back up to 1200?

I have large pages enabled and I am setting my CPU affinity.

Why are some people mining cryptonight v7 with rx 4XX/5XX series cards? Not sure if i'm missing something but isn't ETH still the more profitable coin to mine? Just because the fork happened it does guarantee that it will be more profitable.

Yep, I guess you missing something, eth doesn't want to fork just for ASICs

https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/8aa64j/eth_core_devs_have_decided_not_to_emergency_hard/

so the difficulty will still remain and will continue to increase

bye on eth mining for now
