Lately, Russia government refuse cryptocurrency but as of now, Russia is currently working on a regulatory framework to legalize Initial Coin Offerings (ICO's) require investors to use certain cryptocurrencies, typically ether and bitcoin, in order to invest in their projects. All of these projects are legit and professional members. The legalization of cryptocurrency in Russia can help large companies and small businesses that need investors. So now Russia I think is near in cryptocurrency adaption.

It does not mean anything. These few items for the exchange of bitcoin can be demolished in one day, and those who engaged in them, put in jail. It is unlikely that in the near future in Russia normal conditions will be created for citizens to use them as a crypto currency. Judging by the prohibition of crypto-currency sites, social networks only for refusing to provide intelligence services with information about encrypted data of their owners, in this country, especially under its current leadership, citizens of this country will not have the degree of freedom under which they could freely use a decentralized crypto currency.

Russia isn't even remotely close. It's legally still prohibited to use anything other than the Ruble as currency. The main point of importance is that while Russia doesn't seem to be willing to prohibit all aspects of crypto currencies, they have a long way to go in order to become crypto friendly. Instead of their ICO regulations they should clear things up on other grounds, because as it is right now, they are selectively shutting down sites and services because they aren't following the law, but don't do anything against other (mostly larger) sites and services. This back and forward moving should end since it doesn't contribute to anything. If you start a service there you don't even know what's allowed or not allowed....

Yes I also heard the news that Russia can accept cryptocurrency in their country. It opened local exchanges and it opened the doors to enter cryptocurrency. People in the Russia was already adopting cryptocurrency for their use. More intial coin offerings are opened by investors in Russia. In Russia they allowed the people to exchange bitcoin to local fiat and use. One country follow this means other countries also have a look on it and the cganges will occur.

LOL. They have their beloved CryptoRubble already so I doubt that they will really open the doors for crypto to compete with their own. Yes, I agree that there are a lot of Russians involved in ICO project but it doesn't mean that the nation is openly supporting them. Sooner or later we will hear that they will release their official stance, and I don't think it will be favorable as most of you guys think. Just look around and see for yourself how many times they contradict themselves to the point that they look like at a total lost and really don't cooperate with one another.

A bitcoin exchange bureau has been opened in the Russian capital. According to local media reports, this is the only exchange office in Moscow that buys and sells cryptos for cash. Lawyers say nothing in the law forbids this type of service, and the business is legal.

The Russian authorities have not yet regulated cryptocurrencies, but the Russians are already adopting them. A new bitcoin change has been opened recently, not far from one of Moscow's main railway stations, Kursky Vokzal. According to media reports, the office is the first of its kind in the Russian capital.
Thats good to hear, now, if the russia trully welcomed it, im surely that country might be more economically strong

Might be, but don't expect anything to happen. I am of believe that they will try to delay that process for as long as they can, all to see how their neighbour (proxy) Belarus fares with their new open minded crypto regulations. A lot will depend on the developments in that country, and in case they are of positive nature, it will translate into more crypto friendliness in Russia as well.

It's a very smart move that will allow Russia to either open the gates for economical improvements, or just outright ban the crap of crypto in case it affects the economy of Belarus negatively. I am confident in the first option to be more likely, but we don't know how attractive the crypto friendly regulations are while on the other hand you have to worry about an unstable government. Only time will tell how everything will play out.

Russia is a great place to use cryptocurrency, they are slowly adopting the system. Some of the ICO comes from russis or ever founded by a Russian people. I know this place will become one of the big market in the future and bitcoin will be good because of this.

i don't know the situation on that country because i'm not Russian people but according to OP post that build exchange service which is Russian people can buy or sell crypto is not against the law so until today involved at crypto world is not forbidden in Russia but i think that's will not guarantee someday Russia government will adopt and regulate cryptocurrencies and in my view it's too early to talking about this
it is true Russia has adopted a bitcoin or crypto currency when the decision was taken they see that many citizens are using bitcoins or other digital currencies so they hope to take advantage of bitcoin by adopting it.

Their government shouldn't hinder the development of cryptocurrency of the country, and if the regulation is the main concern, well definitely it can be applied to those criminals who used to scam people through cryptocurrency. If this thing about adopting cryptocurrency to Russia, that's a great opportunity for the people to invest for the best currency that will give them a break particular on money making process that will take less than a year and make them earn more profit out of their fiat cash.

Yes, I agree with you. The authorities and media actively speak about cryptocurrencies.
But it is a pity that in our country all against people, and it means that we are given so far the chance to buy up cryptocurrency, and then will unambiguously adopt the tax law with huge percent. Still it is necessary to consider that the power actively works on a concept of anonymity of cryptoholders. Anonymity and independence it not for the benefit of the Russian authorities.
Even now, proceeding from the adopted legislation it is already visible that everything goes to collecting a large tax. So Russia very mercantile country. And she won't become kriptoloyalny. Embarrassed

What CryptoRubble? Grin
Only have told about him, before realization still far. In general Russia is very far from introduction of technology in life. The power think about that more as to earn from it. The authorities people don't trust, so Nobody will buy CryptoRubble.

Of course, it can seems very funny, but some people in Russia try to create cryptorubles.
I saw so many ICO's with, for example, RUSCOIN, which never listing anywhere, and somebody try to sold this tokens...
OMG, so much projects to made scam, and it is really hard to find really good project, with really good crypto

So, first time, when this projects could be really on worldwide market with listing tokens somewhere,
i can think, that it could be possible.
In another time, it seems to me scam in all of that projects.

Russia has always been pretty much open to cryptocurrencies. But this selling and exchanging it for cash really looks pretty gross and senseless to me. This will surely promote black money in the state and it will not be too long before government will make an action over it. In a world now where even buying selling shares and securities is not legal how can one talk legality about selling cryptos for cash. This isn't any sign of adoption of cryptocurrencies but is merely a publicity stunt which will looked forward by officials soon.

may i think yes, russia might legalize bitcoin and other types of cryptocurrency in order to combat illegal transactions, because the Russian electronic currency is already high, and they believe that a flexible approach is needed to regulate blockchain
