I hate the horrible goblin. I wouldn't mind a nice pump from him though.

Once he has pumped it he can roll over and die, finally.

George Soros' Whale Impact We will all see together how to wave the market. I am of the opinion that we will see the effects of this in the long run. Large whales create large fluctuations.

When these guys get into the market, they fill up their tactics. The market is so strong that they can tilt the hill, they do not leave a small investor in the middle, only the whales are in the middle.

Do you think this will be good or bad for altcoins? Family Offices belonging to other billionaries might join or at least take notice but this is one of the best investors out there with enough means to push the market any direction he has in mind
It is good to see we get media attention if some billionaire is entering this market, is this such a taboo subject, which is there enough attention to these small things, this is 2018 and we have passed that attention seeking stages about how great this technology is and now everyone understands the importance, does he single handedly push the market with his money, i do not think so because the market has grown a lot, may be some alt coins with low trading volume can be manipulated.

Impact ? of course it's a good sign for cryptos(which mean there will be another pump coming in).
but i believe in a few weeks/months later he will try to create his own crypto.
just like others,
they will try to maximize their opportunity to gain a lot of profit from uncertainty and idea, afterward there will be another ICOs.
(lets do not talk about manipulation, because i believe he's part of it from long time ago)
Be careful on this man, this guy is known for being a mass financial market murderer. I suggest we should ride on this whales in order to make profits or else we can't make any of this after they dump prices.

We prefer not to have these whales who can manipulate the market, but right now a few billions is what we need to inject life into the crypto market so Soros and his crew will be welcomed. He picked the right time (i.e. now) to invest which shows he knows what he is doing, and others will probably follow him in.

I really dislike this man but cannot say anything to his entrance in crypto markets.
I think that it will create overall good results with most altcoins, he may also alert authorities for regulated secure markets.

It should be a positive impact, most people don't want to know why theya re getting into Crypto space, all they care about is if Soros are trading it then it must be good, for now we need new money to enter the space because IMO money seems to be leaving the space than entering recently

I don't think this is a good message. Every commodity in the world is going to be hurt by these capital tycoons. Because they have money to burn! Make waves, harvest retail investors! The addition of these people will only create chaos in the market and will not bring any help!

George Soros is known as the one who broke the Bank of England. He made a ton of money shorting GBP. He had some plans shorting Yen. I am sure he did short crude oil. I   hope he doesn't short cryptocurrency now!
Do you think he will short it in the future? If that may happens and again new investors would pop up, I think it's a good news right? Demand will probably beat supply and boom there it goes again. We don't know what he's reason behind all this and all we can do is ride with the waves.

No it is not good at all. Don't forget how he destroy Poundsterling. Or how he destroy the whole South East Asia. No matter what he does it is never good for everyone, only seek benefit for himself. Trust me, anything we now about the current  Crypto Whale, Soros is much worse.

This can be bad for altcoins, he's pulling altcoin investors including those whales to invest in bitcoin only.

Here we go as of today, bitcoin went 11% for just 30 mins reaching $8,000 but due to day traders, it's now $7,600.

Short term when he enters it could be good as he will hopefully bring more investors along as well, It should pump the markets.
Long term I worry he could short the market, or at least try too. I guess it will be the usual crypto market, you just have to ride the waves and try and pull out at the right times.

I don't know, I claim is BucatkeCoin the project behind this rise but jokes aside, having Soros,Rockerfeller and Rothschild interested in crypto means the tide might be turning. If they want, it'll certain turn

I would like to see those greedy ass people stay out of crypto, but it is an impossible thing. There is a ton of profit here and they need it all.
They don't have such a control like in fiat and bonds system, but they will find the way for a successful manipulation.

I think there is not just one whale in the market. There are more whales than you think, not just Soros. All we, tiny investors, shall do is to watch the fluctuation caused by those big investors.

From bloomberg and other sources, I wouldn't believe it but it appears to be true despite the mogul saying Bitcoin was a bubble

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-06/george-soros-prepares-to-trade-cryptocurrencies-as-prices-plunge

It's obviously a good news for sure. Why would anyone getting into trading crypto be a bad news? Even if institutional investors.

But this signifies the recent influx of institutional investors in crypto, and it truly means that crypto technology is taking off and grabbing the attention of big name traders worldwide. Even though right now we're still in a bearish state of market, these new institutional investors are going to mean that the next bull market will be much bigger in scale.

I think this is a trend to follow. Don't discount the possibility of other well known investors and traders in the traditional investment business to start getting into crypto soon as well, just like Soros did recently. Crypto as a whole has a lot of potential due to the fact that we're still early in the adoption phase, and institutional investors are only catiching up now.
