There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Does it use bitcoind or blockchain.info api?

only Bitcoind

as far as i know, blockchain.info also has an interface that is 100% compatible with running a daemon locally

(in addition, and separate to blockchain.info's other URL-based api)

I know about their RPC API - but it's not as same as you think - it doesn't support some of the main commands that our script needs to run properly.

I'm curious what those commands are. I'd like to use this script with litecoin.

It's no problem to use it with any cryptocurrency.

The command is "getreceivedbyaddress". This is supported by all crypto wallets, but not supported by Blockchain - I don't know why...

Hello, i'm the one who bought your Coin Wheel.
I'm just waiting for the order of my top level domains.

Payment with download worked so far.

I wanna set it up for a altcoin. Maybe i need your help later for that.
Only for that wallet thing. I have to configur my wallet file of my alt currency right?
Or can i use it with a online wallet?

It does not support an online wallets like blockchain.info API, etc. You have to install wallet to you own server (VPS) and configure (examplealtcoin.conf) and there you fill some basic RPC access settings.

If anything goes wrong, please contact me at PM, I'll help you to setup everything.

Of course, only need to copy your Bitcoind data & export CoinWheel 1.0 database (mysql), than locate it to your new server.

I know, but they are blocking the "getreceivedbyaddress" command and our script is using this command...

There is no need to ever use that command for this, be aware people that ever consider buying this: these guys have no clue how to use bitcoind, lie about selling copies, failed to code basic number display, lord knows what many other bugs are there.

So why it works? Shocked

We never lied about selling copies and you have no proof for your lies.
