I would agree with this to some extent (and 100% for inexperienced investors), but there will always be opportunities to make short term gains if you know what to look for. It still involves research and patience, but really it comes down to timing. Doing the research first can pinpoint coins you are interested in, then keeping an eye on their progress, e.g. hitting significant targets on their roadmap, big announcements, partnerships etc. By paying close attention to a smaller number of projects (rather than scanning the whole market), you can sometimes put yourself a step ahead of other less involved investors/traders. I'm not talking hours/days here, but a decent return in less than a month is definitely possible once you know what to look out for. This tactic can also work for the reverse, e.g. projects missing targets, negative news etc., helping you to exit earlier than others (and then buy back in later if you so wish).

We are still expecting a strong pump in the market as most of the prices have fallen dramatically in the last two months and this is the best chance to buy now as Bitcoin prices are likely to rise come back . Patience is key indeed, but a great deal of ingenuity in trading skills is required and can't be built in an instant. You need years of experience to become a good trader; otherwise, you must be a genius to be able to hit it off at first go.

Bitcoin is so unpredictable sometimes need a lot of patience to gained profit, so if you are using the daily needs money then you can be forced to sell in a lower price, and using daily need money is not the correct way to invest, once you got wrong prediction you can lose money and you wont be able to fulfilled your basic need, so not recommended to take that kind of risk to invest

I agree to this. Trading and investing takes time. Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are highly volatile and unstable so profit is not guaranteed. Aside from the money you invested, you also need time to invest to make good profit and that is not quick.

Thats true but I have seen lot of people making lot more in single trade and more than what one can earn in whole month. People are here with expertise on the swing trades and they are spending sufficient time in whole day and making big bucks. This comes down to the way you are doing the trading, what are you trading and what kind of coin you have chosen. Crypto currencies are both opportunistic and optimistic at the same time. As you said its all about studying the market while making any kind of trade, on top of that you do need base of your luck. Usually people find swing trades far difficult and that is why they end up doing the long trades with limits trades on all the time. So you part of your thinking is completely true while the ratio may not be strictly 1/10 but could be 50-50 as people do make huge with smart trades.

Exactly, patience is a necessary and important virtue for investors and traders like us. I am not a good person to endure and persevere before. But after entering the crypto market, dependency from the pump / discharge process was seen. I feel the need to work hard to change and improve my patience. It's not easy and you need to practice it over time.
