How do you think will this affect the market and all the user of cryptos? Can we expect a price spike in the market then after a while, a sudden downtrend movement again?
It will probably have a big affect to the market specially in bitcoin if he puts some of his funds to invest in crypto it will make a huge up for all the altcoins in the market and it will break the down trend so if that happen other investors will do it the same because George soros is known billionaire.

Most likely he knew about the huge potential of the crypto currency, even when he called the crypto currency a bubble, he just did not tell anyone about it.

Let's not confuse trading and investing. The CNBC and Bloomberg articles both recite the same statement: internal approval to trade virtual currencies. The crypto media is putting a more positive slant on it. I didn't see mention of hedge fund investment. We shouldn't automatically assume the money Soros puts into the market will be net positive. Trading includes margin shorting, puts, calls, options, etc and not just buying spot and investing. And remember, Soros is famous for shorting the markets. He famously made billions of dollars by shorting the pound in the 90s. He's bet heavily against the S&P 500 and Nasdaq more recently. I'm not saying that's what he plans to do here, but everyone here seems to think he'll just dump $26 billion into BTC or something. That's unlikely. Its a welcome news for Bitcoin, still, the question is, when they are investing, how much amount of investment they willing to put in for Bitcoin? This news is not actually unusual for Bitcoin, some whales are already invested in Bitcoin with low key names, everyone is interested in Bitcoin investment, it is just a matter of time when almost everybody is into crypto currency investment.

Most of you have probably heard about George Soros a billionaire who is reportedly taking an interest in cryptocurrency trading. Just before this event, he's been negative on bitcoin, calling it a bubble and etc, but with his sudden interest now in trading with his $26 billion assets, I guess we could probably say that he saw the potential of cryptocurrencies. How do you think will this affect the market and all the user of cryptos? Can we expect a price spike in the market then after a while, a sudden downtrend movement again? all of these predictions can happen and may also have an effect on the future crypto price economy, but I do not really think about it if it happens to stem the price for what, if the goal is to buy as much bitcoin for buying and selling because of economic potential and profit, Simple logic people choose to trade with menbeli diharga cheap selling diharga tinggi, may be useful do not panic success for us all

We cannot say that billionaires can invest in bitcoin. You know whats on the mind of any billionaire investor, they cannot take the risk on bitcoin. We cannot see what will happen if billionaires will invest on bitcoin.

Why they give effect? because in the crypto market that affects the price is demand and supply, buy and ask. and the billionaires have a lot of capital that can manipulate it. so they have more effect in the crypto market

Then this Billionaire: George Soros is considered as one of the richest big whales in the market that uses wealth to maneuverer the Bitcoin prices after he had termed it to be Bubble, that he now understands the potentials and rudiments of these Cryptos in the market which is a bit fair since prices will spike because of scarce demands for Bitcoin, but would not be very appropriate in the cryptoworld, because no matter the price surge, the downtrend volatility is eminent and shall equally soon surfaces. However, I don't think there should be any cause for alarm other than the individual should maintain self integrity on any scenarios that ramificate against this arena.

Yeah I think that because bitcoin is more like a currency / store of value, it's going to be really interesting if it eats into the notional value of gold (in the trillions, 4 or 5 trillion?) or into the notional value of FOREX (in the quadrillions).
I don't have a crystal ball, but the numbers get nuts really fast.
Bitcoins current price reflects what the Market thinks right now what the future value is (in tension), so right now the Market doesn't agree .... but the higher the price goes (if the liquidity and volume is there too), the more bitcoin can do and the higher it can go.

Its scary if they enter in bitcoin market because they can actually control the price movement of bitcoin. Billionaire thinks in different way, they might innovate their own coin so they can compete with bitcoin. There's a positive and negative effects in the market if a greedy billionaire enter the market, so I'm not looking for that moment to lose my own money because of that big whale.

George Soros could definitely put a big dent on the value of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The problem is thinking that he already hasn't. Given the amount of capital he has, i wouldn't be surprised if news leaks out that he was already part and parcel of the spike that brought bitcoin to $20k. For all we know, he may have already cashed out and caused the price of bitcoin to tank at the levels we are experiencing today.

Well, if this guy actually invests 26 Billion USD on crypto currency then we will definitely see a huge spike in the market. I just hope he won't whale it up by sellin everything once the market is in an all time high then buying again when it is low. It would ultimately deoend on how he will move his investments. But the bottom line is, 26 billion dollars is a huge amount and will create ripples in the crypto currency market.

We've got Soros, Rockefellers and the Rotchschild's but still the price isn't high so it's like a game to them that they are doing something to make the price lower. Well, if this guy actually invests 26 Billion USD on crypto currency then we will definitely see a huge spike in the market.
This report has been reported on April but still there's no confirmation if Soros' management bought bitcoin. But still there's no indication that they have bought already. These billionaire investors once started investing to bitcoin others will be putting their faith to their move.

Any potential investor or even some kind of always invests money in a project that it is financially interested .This project should be interested in.To do this, he must carefully read the business plan that will bring him financial benefits. And the effect of this investment is profit, profit and profit again !

FUD will still dominant on this current situation on crypto market. FUD will always dominant because, most of hodler is a newbie investor, just like me. we need a good statement about crypto regulation from goverment globaly.

Yeah price hike will happen if ever he pour his billions of assets on the market. He can also manipulate the market depending on the coin he want to invest in. If we can go with the flow of his manipulation the it would be better for us though it is so hard to speculate when will it be happening so that we can get in. Maybe George is now planning what coin and when he will be playing with us and the market.

It is amazing how one person single has such great amount of money. I think with his potential he can just destroy all this market by once. Having this amount of money is highly dangerous.
