Yes the contest is still open. Please make submissions prior to 11/21/2013. The top 3 will be moved to another thread and a voting contest will be held. The best voted candidate will receive 0.75 bitcoins for the cover and logo and another 0.25 to polish the cover with all the necessary fine details (author names, publishers, etc).

Throwing my hat in the ring here. It might seem a bit more out there, but this is a speculative contest and as such I took a little creative leeway.

The typeface symbolically represents cryptographic elements for the background text. The top and bottom 'BITCOIN' are not obfuscated, representing the beginning and end users. For that crypto-anarchy vibe, neon green of course.

Lastly thievery became very popular in world of crypto currencies.

One of polish BTC, LTC market was hacked and they have stolen all users BTC and LTC that were on their accounts that time.
