Hello current American bitcoiners,

With the price of bitcoin skyrocketing, I figured this was a good time to announce The American Bitcoin Association will be launching soon. We are promoting it as a bitcoin community, and one stop shop for bitcoiners. The best site to find out the SAFEST ways to: buy and sell bitcoin, store bitcoin, buy items with bitcoin, invest/trade bitcoin. and just build an all round trusting bitcoin hangout.

Now, to help raise revenue for exclusive high paying faucets, games, and contest we will offer, we are selling a very useful American Bitcoin™ QR Deposit card. Membership statuses will start at bronze for around $6, go to black for around $22 and will resemble a standard credit card with name, member # and 2 personal QR wallet codes of the members choice. The higher your status, the better chances you have and prizes you can win. It will be free to join, but you wont have access to all of the contests, prizes, and free bitcoins that will be offered as a guest.

The main purpose for the Association is to help the average American who does not know much about crypto currencies, to get more comfortable with them and trying to bring everything more mainstream. We all want the bitcoin to live on forever, and the more people that have them makes that more and more of a reality. Therefore, Im also looking for knowledgeable bitcoiners to help explain things in the easiest ways possible. Things like keeping a paper wallet, opening a bitcoin wallet and keeping it encrypted, just the easy stuff that everyone on this site knows. I just want to gather all that info up and present it a little more clearer for the masses.

If you are interested in helping build the ABA into a community the average American will understand, and most importantly, TRUST. Please PM me to find out more. Permanent recognition will be given to bitcoiners that can help.

You might say, "how is this different than the bitcoin foundation" the answer is, I dont know. The foundation blocks potential members from seeing what they will be paying for and costs around $30 for a year. The bitcoin foundation seems too corporate, and have come under a lot of scrutiny lately. This is a grass roots project, much like bitcoin, made by present American bitcoiners intended for the future of American bitcoiners. The more Americans using bitcoin, the more valuable bitcoin becomes. Thanks

Really shady on ebay, conning newbies

DO NOT use this, they have seen your private key

Newbies, make your own FREE here https://www.bitaddress.org/
They also don't see your private key

This ploy is a cash grab and possible security threat.

PS. So where is this "community"? All I see is a store at http://americanbit.com/

THIS is our community and you are a con artist.

THis is real, the site is real and we have roughly 30 paying members and we havent even launched yet. We have great ideas, great products, and a great team. The more money we can raise, the more fun we can have with it. The membership cards are pre-order only as of now, but we will have a physical product in roughly 2 weeks. Please stay tuned.

This is the furthest thing from a scam. This is the bitcoin community you can be proud to be a member of. The Bitcoin Foundation is the real scam

Paying members does not make you "best"
Your paying members are just newbies from ebay that think your ripped off american express cards are how bitcoins work

Well considering our whole business plan is to help "newbies" and offer fun products as well, I take that as a compliment.First of all, The ABC website offers 10 times the information the bitcoin alliance site offers. Look at the site, it still has news for 2 weeks ago on the homepage. The product is no different than the wooden dogtags featured in coindesk yesterday. Except my product comes with services. Different member levels offer different perks. For instance, BLACK card members get free escrow service agent fees. I just personally did this for a member a few days ago. He bought a jupiter from someone in Oman, and I acted as the escrow agent free of charge. Dec 17th

Hey guys,

The miner arrived safe and sound. We're all set.

Jaifar, here's my invitation code to claim the funds:
einvbAZvwzBBrAN6k8ktWjmyBw1PYBTzo8XPhbML1XczDchELpobL1ayg4atmhJCjFdkmydApJ2

My advice would be transfer the funds from the escrow account to your own wallet or another wallet address you trust.

Chris and Jaifar, absolute pleasure dealing with you both. If you need any recommendations / testimonials / etc in the future, I'd be happy to provide them. We also do web applications, mobile apps, and Google Glass dev if you need anything like that.

Thanks!"

No one is asking you to sign up. Just dont call things a scam when you know nothing about it thanks

Where is the information? All I found is the store..

You are just shady, you are straight up infringing on american express. You have no future.

Anyone can offer free escrow. But I would never trust you.

Ok

Ok so to have access to this database with thousands of bitcoin businesses and descriptions of what they do, it costs 7 dollars for the year and you get a personal QR card. There is no scam, we are trying to help people not get scammed actually. You saw where I lived...thats 9th street in Santa Monica...as in 9 blocks from the beach in one of the wealthiest cities in the world. I dont need to scam people

9th? Try adding 1 to that
