Hi

I have some questions, some for one computer and some for other.

I have a computer with a 6950 with unlocked shaders and clocks unlocked also, core 2 quad q6600, 2x2gb ddr2 800. I use Windows 7 64 bits with ATI 11.7 (now, before 11.6) and msi afterburner 2.1.0. I use guiminer alone or guiminer with phoenix 1.5 and I am suffering an error when mining.

I move the clocks to down for the memory and the core and voltage a little up but it appears usually with all clocks.

When I start mining I do between 380-410 hashes but the driver stops and windows recovers from an error (usually when I return to the computer and I move the mouse to recover from a standby monitor, others only moving the mouse the computer freezes). The highest temperature is between 70ºC and 75ºC

I don't know what happens with that. any suggestion? For example if I don't touch a thing and leave the computer alone with a little luck the card is mining during hours, others I put mining and it freezes at the moment or when I move the mouse some minutes before.

For the other computer we have an athlon x2 with 2gb ddr3 and 2 new club3d 6870x2 in linux ubuntu. We have a proxy behind the internet with password and I configured the X linux to use the proxy but in the terminal I had to use proxychains http://proxychains.sourceforge.net/ to run the mining process to bypass the proxy.

We used the tutorial in the web to configure ubuntu with the 11.6 ati drivers, sdk 2.4, opencl 0.92, ATIOverdriveCtrl and finally I downloaded poclbm and phoenix 1.5.  Also the maximum bios settings (out of them the cards recover the default settings) are 940 cores and 840 memory.

I started using poclbm with 4 workers in www.btcguild.com but some cores run 280 hashes and others run between 150 and 200 but all of them are going up and down. Then I got from 850 to 1150 hash but I want to reach 1100-1200 constantly if possible.

Does phoenix 1.5 work better? I had some connection problems and I have to try it but I want to ask it now. Is a problem of the proxy?

Also, is easy to modify the bios to have lower memory clocks? And if it is normal in a 2 gpus card that 1 gpu runs faster than the other because it seems to happen in both cards 6870x2

thanks in advance.
