I remember before it used to be that wallet.dat is everything u need to back up your wallet.  What are the files ending in .wallet?

Also, do wallet passphrases apply to the wallet.dat / back up when u load it to a new client?

.wallet?  With Bitcoin-Qt?  I thought that was a file from MultiBit?

Also, do wallet passphrases apply to the wallet.dat / back up when u load it to a new client?

oh so is multibit's back up not wallet.dat, but .wallet?
