Hi guys. I'm Jan, from Sweden. Have a bit of an issue. Yesterday I sent 0,1 to Satoshi Dice but it was set to no-fee on blockchain.info (I'm new, had no idea it would be THIS BAD). I played on Satoshi Dice with it for a bit and made 1BTC from it. I got really excited, wanted to withdraw and saw the initial 0,1 is still unconfirmed. It's been 24 hours. Now normally, I wouldn't be this worried - but today I lost my job. That 1 BTC will pay my rent. I'll be in a heap of trouble if I lose that 1 BTC because of the initial 0,1 which is still unconfirmed. What can I do? There has to be a way to fix this. Satoshi Dice is not helping. I don't understand why it's not being confirmed. The warning to no-fee was "several hours" but it's been 24 hours and it doesn't seem to be advancing, it keeps going from 1% to 10-15% and then back to 0% and so on and so forth. I really need that BTC, how can I fix this? Please help. This is the transaction in question: https://i.imgur.com/RCK5gBm.pngThis is my address: 1GiCm9NRB1La1cPUjD8rnZUeko62A74Hrv This is the transaction on blockchain: https://blockchain.info/address/1EoBx8yQNiMJqWVwmQWQwPenGuiUou9B7ZThis is the hash: https://blockchain.info/en/tx/80fb75c2d03c2f71a6fe9de37672a049528e41e22ebd891ae872ff9498b89dd2Please help. I had not anticipated getting fired and now I'm really worried about that unconfirmed transaction.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do (assuming the 0.1 BTC unconfirmed tx has *appeared* in say blockchain.info).
There is a large backlog of low or zero fee transactions, blocks have been recently solved slower than the average and the last two blocks only included 120 odd transactions each.
There are quite a few people waiting for confirmation (I am one of them).

Tough luck mate, I had a transaction without fees once and it took around 5-6 days for it to be confirmed. I wouldn't blame the miners, they're just trying to make the most out of their devices.

I made a similar mistake when I first started too. Obviously no one wants to pay fees, but I didn't realize that it would 4-5 days for it to settle. But I did get confirmed and it wasn't too bad, but going forward I set the option to the most preferred one.

Just wait, there is still hope. Here is your current estimated confirmation time 13 hours. I had a transaction yesterday which was sent without a fee, and it had an estimated time of 28 hours. I checked it today and it was confirmed It's been 24 hours and that estimated time keeps changing. It's now up to 15h.

It really depends on whether a generous miner will decide to include your transaction in a block. So the estimated time is really, REALLY estimate.

This is precisely why I will never allow someone to do a service for me for free. It either takes forever, or isn't done properly. It's is so interesting that BTC mimics reality in this way.

I made the same mistake.
I sent a small amount of bitcoins in February this year. But the transaction is still pending and not confirmed.

LOL its still unconfirmed to this Day??? THATS FUNNY AF That's not funny. It's really scary. Sometimes it's really important, even if it's such a small sum. I really need to find a way to fix this issue. If confirming this is not working, then figure out a way to re-send the same transaction somehow to SatoshiDice and get them to accept it, or... I don't know. Someone was saying that some "tx" might disappear and then I can resend it? How do I do that? Someone else said that I should double spend this with a fee, which will go through. How do I do that?

You could try it, but you would lost the 1BTC from satoshi dice if you successfully double spend your initial 0.1 BTC
