YES, Bitcoin is slowly becoming the defacto WORLD CURRENCY.

There is only ever ONE world currency.

Take a look at this Google Trends link and see its level of interest.

Could you reduce the asking price?

On a mission to make Bitcointalk.org Marketplace a safer place to Buy/Sell/Trade

Could you reduce the asking price?

Are you referring to the starting bid or the Buy It Now price?

theworldcurrency.com Domain Expiration Date ?

Expiration Date: 21-Mar-2014 (naturally I'll be renewing it if I don't sell or it or develop it by then)

BTC10 is too steep. it's fine to be $1,000 not BTC10

You base your opinion on? In my opinion in a years time these prices will be considered CHEAP, A STEAL

I prefer to consider the opinion of someone with a lot of expertise in this area like Fred Wilson.

" We've noticed the average price of a good domain has risen fairly dramatically in the past year. We used to advise companies to spend $10k or less on a domain, then we upped that recommendation to $25k. We recently upped it again to $50k. I suspect domain prices and pre-money valuations of newly launched start ups are highly correlated. "

It's a domain name being auctioned, not a web site.

But you're welcome to look at the level of historical interest in the search term here:
