Yes, of course we don't have to listen to the wrong news let alone want to drop bitcoin and seek news of bitcoin. Actually for what we listen to false news, it will only make the price down, we believe it to the news that really is useful and from a reliable source.

I still don't knew why there are still people who easily believe in a fake news ,what my point is when we become part of this community we should know first what are the pros and cons here. Before anything else dig deep about the news that been spread if how reliable it is before the damage will be done.

To ensure that the fake news or fake information will be avoided we should only read and listen of the news from the most trusted websites. We should avoid the news that will came from unreliable source or just forwarded in email because the famous and reliable sites will only publish real news because their reputation is always at stake.

Absolutely mate to make it sure if the news is fake or not we should read or watch a reliable news sites. We people here are also responsible to search what really is real and we should not believe that easy to those fake of FUD information.

Fake news makes weak hands to sell, and strong hands to buy - and this is what we ultimately want and what crypto ultimately needs. We want only believers to own crypto, people who will not sell at the slightest doubt spread by fake news. I personally haven't sold a single btc since I originally invested. I don't care about fake news...I am aware that it is fake and created to manipulate market. I believe in btc and will never sell..well maybe 5 years from now when it's wroth 1 million

One thing to note for sure is that NO-ONE CAN BAN CRYPTO AS IT IS NOT REGULATED BY GOVERNMENT, and to look at the bright side of it when the false news hits and crypto crashes one should have learnt from this by now as I see it as a means to buy crypto at a cheaper price and it also helps the late birds who didn't key into crypto early enough. So inshort, no need to panic but learn and take advantage of the situation okay.
It is always wise to keep spare currency to buy crypto for times like this..

That's right, I completely agree with you. You need to follow the news and be aware of the news, but you need to react to them correctly and never panic, because with the help of this news, some people are trying to influence the price of crypto currency.

If you listen to much false news, do you become false too? I saw that on tv couple days ago, nice thing if you give it a thought. Will I read something or not depends from in what kind of mood I am. Here on forum I read most of the stuff, stupid and smart, but when it comes to news I choose what I read. Many times I started to read and quit it after few words.

You should be strong man! News cant make you do something you dont want to do. Weak people fall on all kind on news, strong people do what they want to do no matter what kind of news they read, they know what they want, in what they believe in and they doing that no matter what!

 Yes indeed, there is nothing good you can get out of listening to these false news. The only thing they want to achieve is to spread FUDs and make people stop believing on Bitcoin, worst some people allows these news to affect them leading them to do some crazy things that actually would do more harm than good to them. The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another. A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!
1. Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2. September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5. Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"... (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?

"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"[​IMG]??


Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

We should not listen to false news because this can make us lose our interest in making money with bitcoins. Nobody can stop the popularity of bitcoins and the increase of its price. A lot of people wanted to earn and bitcoin on the other side have helped many people that is why media are making false issue against bitcoins because they are influencing by people who are against bitcoin business.

False news has become the cause of misleading information and facts. Many have become a victim of it, and it's hard to control because as we continue modernizing our support system they are also studying for new plans to continue ruining the good reputation of Bitcoin and our living as well. The best way to respond this kind of falsification is to be aware where the source is coming from, to scrutinize the authenticity of the news, and be vigilant. Furthermore, ignoring all these false news is a great way to decrease the level of anxiety. As long as we know what truly Bitcoin is and how useful it is, then I guess false news has no place in our life, and does not deserve our attention.

It was a mistake for China to ban trading as they missing out on huge tax revenues. Local traders will simply use VPNs and trade with offshore exchanges. Chinese exchanges will simply move their office and operation to another country. Even if the news is true, the people will still find a way to trade

I totally agree with you. This is one of the problems we cryptonias have right now. But I think people are getting smarter now unlike the drops when this happen the first time, the effects of these fake news are less. So I think we don't need to worry about it more. Let's research first before we believe. Not everything in the internet is true.
