Whenever I search for Masternodes I noticed they all state that they are a currency payment system.Or at least the ones I found. Which makes me doubt 99% of MN because we have enough of currencies.

So my question is are all MN the same concept, or is there MNs with other uses/concept?

How can you tell which is proper? Talking about new MN, investing early.

Website, community and roadmap matters of course, but all new projects seem to have messed up websites, small community and unclear roadmap.

MNs is just a blockchain network architecture, and you can add anything to it you can imagine (and code  Wink)

DASH is the leader of MN coins, to get an idea what can be done around a MN blockchain check its Evolution plans - https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/39583757/Evolution
another good example - Blocknet, it is developing trustless cryptoexchange

I wouldn't blame all MN in one sentence, the concept of it isn't evil or anything. Most of MN-networks want to be a currency, of course.
