i think that is very cool.  and i can understand why you chose to hide the BTC on the rotor.

but what about at least a small little "btc" somewhere on the dial that i can point to to my VERY closest friends?

We thought about that but we ultimately decided to keep it on the rotor - only to be revealed by displaying the beautiful movement through the exhibition case back. In keeping with bitcoin's "crypto" theme, it's almost like a "secret key" - displayed only to those you want to share it with.  Smiley

UPDATE: Dial will now say "BITCOIN CHRONOGRAPH"

I think it's a very nice watch.  That said, I don't really see how it is a "bitcoin luxury watch", as I don't think just a few letters engraved really makes it one.  If there was some sort of fundamental design which revolved around bitcoin designs, that would be another case.

Of course, unless you mean a luxury wrist watch available to be purchased by BTC, which would make my post moot.

it's a limited edition watch produced for the bitcoin community. Of course the style will not be for everyone. I consider it a unique watch to commemorate the early years of bitcoin before it becomes mainstream.

I will buy one if you can get Patek to manufacture it.  Vacheron would be ok too.

Well, i don't know how to say this without offending anyone.

For me, it looks like a cheap mechanical wrist watch with a generic asian clockwork (probably by some company called "BTC"?) or maybe with a custom engraving of these three letters.

Worth: probably 5$.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

100% Swiss Made. The movement alone runs between $400 and $800. Search "Valjoux 7750 ETA". This is a "Top" grade movement.

No offence, but I guess you're not the intended target audience.

Check out this site called Buy It Cheaper (http://www.buycheapr.com/us/result.jsp?ga=us10&q=eta+valjoux+7750) and then bear in mind that this particular watch is a limited edition.

If it doesn't appeal to any early adopters of bitcoin, then might do to someone who's already wealthy (or a bit of a spender) who wants to take a punt on bitcoin, or who is just into collecting exclusive/expensive watches.
