I edited the video to show only the Bitcoin part (second half of the show, beginning after about 42 min from the start) and uploaded it to blip.tv - here it is:
http://giulioprisco.blip.tv/file/4746741/

To downloaded in .mp4 format open the box Files and Links in the right column and choose "MPEG4 Video (.mp4) : Right Click › Save"

To post the video to YouTube it must be split in 4 parts (or 3 parts of 15 min without the last minute). If you have a partner agreement with YouTube you can upload without splitting it. The CC notice and the link to http://twit.tv/sn287 must be kept.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

What was the traffic spike like ?

CoinPal wasn't mentioned by name, but I had twice as many visitors to the site yesterday than my highest previous day.  Quite a few of them bought coins too.

"Bitcoinage". That's a new one. Any consensus on how and when to properly use it?

Also.

Use my Trade Hill referral code: TH-R11519

Check out bitcoinity.org and Ripple.

I'm not being very helpful, I called Erik an idiot and made him stall for about 10 seconds while he tried to take control of himself.

He said that smartphones were going to destroy desktop PCs, he asked for it...

While I do not know the context of that discussion, how is he asking for it? How many people do you know that own a smartphone? Compare that to how many you know that frequently use a desktop. More and more people are using smartphones for the basic web functions that nullify the use of a clunky, space wasting desktop. The justification of having a desktop these days is mostly for gaming or higher performance computing. You can have word processing, email, most of the functions that typical business minded people use, all online with google docs, gmail, etc. just for an example.

Desktops are:
* Cheaper
* Longer lasting
* Outdated about 10x slower
* Don't require a contract
* Faster
* More flexible
* More upgradable
* Able to run good games
To name a few.

To be fair, smartphones are:
* Portable and convenient
* Flashy
* Easier to communicate with
* Able to do most web-based activities anywhere
* More flexible with payments

But it doesn't justify it for me.

<Snip> Note: I am not a representative of TWIT in any way.. 'ONLY A FAN.'  </Snip>

<sarcasm>I would like to hold you responsible and file a lawsuit against you.  While watching the video I happened to spill "hot coffee" and suffered 3rd degree burns and now my life is changed.</sarcasm>

In today's sue happy world, the last thing I need is a lawsuit, or some DCMA or CALEA subpoena passed my way..
I've seen people and money happy litigators do much worse, with much much less..

SORRY!
