What is going on with #bitcoin twitter account ?

Are there any handover happened for this account ?
Some sources are mentioning it is sold to someone , some of them said it is hacked.
I saw that it was writing some Turkish words yesterday and now it is closed.
Is there anybody in here who knows what happened ?

nobody can possibly know for sure because we don't have access to Twitter database to check the IPs,... to know. but we can see the signs.
this account was posting about bitcoin rarely and never anything against it. then it was dormant for a long time. after bitcoin cash forked off this account became active after a while. and by that time it was posting lots of tweets every day and all of them were attacking bitcoin while supporting bitcoin cash. this is not a normal behavior. there may also be more that i missed but this to me looks like a bought/hacked account to advertise BCH.

It's true that Twitter has been shutting down for bitcoin, but I do not think it will be long and even just a matter of passing, which is not very influential.
