Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000?

I feel like as if 2020 is too soon, it's only 5 years (almost 4 years) away. I wouldn't say never either. I think that 2030 would be a good time to reach $10.000. It's kinda too soon to say, maybe if bitcoin reaches $5000 first, we'll be able to speculate more about a $10.000. I want to reach a solid $5000 first, we need to reach this first before going all the way up to $10.000

2025 at the earliest. More likely around 2028-2030. Could be around 2035. Definitely by 2040 if Bitcoin is indeed "The One."

by the look of it it seems like a scam, there were osme report on bitcointalk on 2014 already, why you invested there?

I placed the bet in 2013. I believe 1 bitcoin was worth about $50 at the time.

The person running the site was respected on the forum.

I can't say its never so I just vote in year 2020. But I think it will take more year to reach that amount of money. You need to just to collect more bitcoins or work hard to get that money. For me I am just happy that it will reach to 5.000 dolalrs.
I mean like 5.000 dollars is just a good amount and no currency have ever reach it so yeah I think bitcoin is just good to have.
Is good to have for now so that in the future you can have a retirement bitcoin so do it in a cold wallet.

I don't think so! If we do the necessary progress, we solve or offer good solutions to our problems, there will be a moment that the whole world will realize that we are the real deal and this will be a breaking point in our price when the price and adoption will just skyrocket!

But the growth of bitcoin in exponential supports the view of reaching $10k levels in 2016. The adoption of bitcoin and more business service getting offered in bitcoin will give bitcoin the exponential growth. So, 2016 is most like possible year to see bitcoin hitting the magical $10k levels.

In a cyclic reactions of demand and popularity, no one will be able to preditc the prices of bitcoin in 2016. When more number of people simply getting their salary in bitcoin by believing in bitcoin's future speculation, we will see many business will adopt bitcoin. Resulting in $10000 price in short term, and in 2016 itself.

But we can not always expect exponential growth all the time frame. It will decrease over time. We can not expect the same type of appreciation happened between 2010 to 2013. But new adoption will induce more growth of bitcoin in up coming years for sure.

I have not voted in the poll as the option i was thinking is not present. I was thinking about that it will be possible for bitcoin to reach $10k in around year 2050 by the fact that the bitcoin price doubled near each halving.

well it might possibly never reach such heights if the price will not start growing a lot in the upcoming years though if it will start growing it should reach it by 2020
