Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000?

I call $10k by 2016, but if we keep rising 10 times per year it will be a lot sooner than that.

Without any actual analysis I chose the same date as you lol, mind you I am bias'd by what I've read and seen here and on the internet.

I Just can't see why once people wake up from the reality that bitcoin at the least is a method for you to control your money and store it safely ( Armory watch only + offline wallet  and a paper wallet backup ) it seems like it will just be a uh duh moment for the people.

I agree with 2016, particularly as the block reward drops to 12.5, but this type of news could do the trick much sooner:

Next year is a big ass stretch indeed. If it is to happen then hopefully it'll be off the back of some genuine growth rather than ever more fevered speculation. I'll go for somewhere between 2020-24. If it doesn't happen by then then I'm not so sure it ever will.

This topic is an old one and the poll need a modification to remove 2013/14/15/16.. But Since many answered here i will go for 2020.
I highly doubt that the price could break $1.5k after the next year halving.

I would love to have the possibility to vote beyond 2020. I think we may reach 10k one day, but that is definitely longer-term perspective and most probably beyond 2020. As there was no such option, I voted 2020, but wanted to give this remark.

You as 2010 Legendary member should know it's not realistic to say Bitcoin will reach $10,000 in 2016. My guess is that we'll see the price reach $10,000 after 2020, if ever.

Unfortunately I have to agree, 2020 might be the year. If Bitcoin infrastructure continues to grow and bring in the development/funding it could happen sooner but I'm not holding my breath.

I see bitcoin ending up somewhere between 2000 and 3000 in 2016.

The next step will be a hellish bear market again, probably for the entire 2017, followed by 10k bitcoins in 2018.

I would love 10k bitcoins in 2016 ofcourse, but I think it is a bit too much to ask for.

I don't think that BTC will be 10k in near future like 2020. Maybe it might be but I don't depend on it.
