Cheers, Just looking at some of the hardware and it is quite pricey, I have seen some of these survey type sites though, are they worth the time?

Just sell something and say "accepting Bitcoin" that's the easiest way to get them.

Nah.  Just go to the gambling section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0
and claim some free giveaways.  That's usually the fastest way to get free bitcoins...

For the gambilng section your post count or activity count has to reach a specified level.

For example peerbet / bit777 wants to see 25 posts in this forum first.

Mining is very difficult already. It's not an amature business anymore. The way to acquire bitcoins now is to buy from somebody or receive as a payment for your service.

I don't think that you will get them free.
Faucets are useless.

If you want btc, you should buy it, steal it, or do some services for it.

Hardware is important, you're going to have to invest a serious amount of money if you want to get something out of mining... As every day passes mining is getting harder though :/ People are losing more from electricity than they are mining bitcoins...
