The Chinese do not understand the concept of a bubble.

In the US the housing bubble eventually came to an end.

In China, the housing bubble grows and instead of coming to and end they just continue to build empty cities.

Well if the price growth continues to accelerate they are pretty close to finding out what happens to unsustainable assets prices when there is no government to keep dumping unlimited amounts of funds to keep the bubble inflated.

There is no such thing as unlimited funds in a finite world. They just haven't reached the limit yet.

Meanwhile, in secret Chinese government subterranian chamber, there is somebody printing tons of yuan, depositing it into a "shadow bank", and wiring it to BTCChina.

On the door to this room, there is a plaque reading "all da coinz."

The assumption is: They haven't found out what it is like.

The fact may well be: Because they know what sustains the Chinese economy, they are desperate to find something else to invest to, and a billion dollars is only pocket money for wealthy Chinese men.
