Does anyone know how many BTC $500 will generate per day?

You should ask if you can make any profit... whats the point if you spend $500 and you only get back $250 Smiley...

you can make profit with 500$  as you can make with 5000$ ROI is the same if you buy 1 or 6 GPUs
or GHs on the market

But the problem is none the mining equipment is profitable even if it is 10000$...

 I am thinking about ROI theese days when BTC hits 400 + $

Many equipment can ROI and still you can earn a huge amount of money if you wait for BTC increases but if you  are selling it now you cant earn anything

Once BTC is getting more and more expansive, it should be more profitable to mine instead because mining equipment always god own in values...

Yeah blades would probably be the best option for under 500. High power consumption though.

Agree, waiting for the next generation ASIC is a better choice, I see some of them having as low as 0.5 Watt per GH/s...

I'm looking to mine for fun with around $500. Which is the best option, 2xasicminer blades? I live in US.
This is strictly for fun, not to necessarily make profit, so advice not to buy or buy btc on exchange don't count. Smiley

$500 is too little for any decent miners... at this point buying the 2TH/s is the only way to make real money... suggest you to buy from cex.io instead when the price drop...

With just 500%, and "just for fun" you should get 2 GPUs.

In the light of recent grow, I feel very good about wasting my time on scrypt mining.

It seems like fury is $100 for 2.6gh, but blade is $200 for 10gh... Wouldn't blade be better?

No.  You must consider the watts/ghps ratio.  The USB Fury sticks, for example, get about 1watt/ghps rate -- about 2.5ghps @ about 2.5watts.  Blades are much worse.  Sure, they get 10ghps.  But they consume 83watts!!  That's 8.3watts/ghps!!!

So as mining difficulty increases, there will come a time when it costs more to run the miner than it produces in BTC.  That time will come much sooner for a blade than a USB Fury.  And even the Fury miners will eventually be obsoleted by the boards that are doing 0.3watt/ghps -- 3.3x as efficient!!  When you compare the blades with those devices currently getting 1ghps @ 0.3watts, the blades require 27.39x as much electricity to do the same amount of work! (3.3 * 8.3)  You'll soon see blades being favored by college students and such who don't have to pay for their electricity.  And by 'soon', I mean in the next 3-6 months.

To get a better feel for this, I suggest checking out http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ and throwing in some of the various mining equipment.  Blades just eat way too much power at this stage of the game.

My first miner -> ATI 4550 (7.2 Mh/sec):
