CoinChat is being hosted on Linode by TF until Dec. 1st. By then, it will go down forever. It is just being hosted so that the users and come together and hopefully make CoinChat 2  And this is all AFAIK. Please correct me if I have errored. You are right, a new website is being developed with a lot more features yeeey just from curiosity, how do you guys even know that coinchat is going down permanently? |

why would you want to use this? i don't understand the purpose? surely you would not receive payments. the whole circumstances around the hack are suspicious and i would be hesitant to even load the page at this point...

Well you dont get much money off of the site, but it is really good to talk to other people who love bitcoin in real time. Um, isn't that what the troll box is for? I kid, I kid. I don't recommend the troll box to anybody. |

Why do many people like that site?
It is a nice and easy way to chat with other people interested in bitcoin (in real time unlike the forums even though I love the forums as well). |
