mtgox sepa deposit still not in my account

Hi,

I made a relatively big deposit on monday. It has been wired to mtgox bank on tuesday, since then there is still no news of the money into my mtgox account (I've well added my mtgox account number as a reference for the wire).

I've open a request on the support desk on wednesday. They first asked me to provide a screenshot of the wire confirmation which I did and now I've got no news from them.

This start to be stressfull and I'm very angry right now because bitcoin rate explodes in the meantime!

What can I do? What can be the problem?

It's impossible to contact them by phone or chat, do you have any advise?

i wouldn't be suprised if it took a few weeks.
back in september it took me 19 days to withdraw from them.

i don't think they have the manpower to process the withdrawals quickly. i would say, just be patient.

USD deposit should take only few days, check your bank if the bank wire went through

But you choose bad exchange, and you will pay way over spot for your Bitcoins

It was EUR deposit and as I said it's already gone from my bank account. No problem on my side.

I didn't actually chose this exchange but bitstamp was a pain in the ass with my documents since 2 weeks (rejecting everything) so I gave up and the prices were close enough at the time I deposited. I try to buy bitcoins since it was still $180...

At this point I just want some news of my money.

Deposit shouldn't take as long as their withdraw.  Withdraw seems to take almost a month for accounts outside Japan.  Deposit to Tokyo Miitsubishi bank account took only a few days.  I wish I could open an account in Portugal, that is another fast withdraw place from MtGox.

I think Monday was their holiday in Japan, so give them another day or two and it should show up on your account

everyone is so focused on MtGox rate but that is not realistic when dealing with many of the merchants who takes bitcoin for the payment.  Bitpay was using the MtGox but switched to Bitstamp recently.

sorry to hear that, you could have doubled your investment at MtGox

Right now if you are not local to UK or Tokyo and some in California, USA, it might be better off buy BTC in person locally.  Meetup or Online
