Then, on October 17, 2011, Shopify secured the acquisition of $15 million in Series B funding, planning at that time to hire more staff, consider acquisitions, and attract app developers to create plug-ins for the Shopify App Store. This makes Shopify one of the biggest companies in the Bitcoin space. Is Bitcoin mainstream yet?
