I am running on a debian system, and I have an ATI Radeion 6700 Series. It mines at 200Mh/s on a good day and 180Mh/s on a bad day, using CGMiner. Should I try Diablo, or is that normal for a card of this type. Thanks.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

it takes me longer to reply to your post than for you to click download and just run it since I've typed more characters already than you would have to type to run it from the command line
