I want to sell my gold for Bitcoin. Decided to get into this investment and take the risk.

I have a MS69 American Gold Eagle - A 1 OZ Gold American Buffalo, and a 2013 Perth mint Kangaroo.

All are 1 OZ -Im looking to sell each for 3.25 BTC or if you bought all 3 at once I would take 9.5 BTC

Gold will be sent through a insured and tracked USPS mail delivery format to ensure shipping goes smoothly.

PM me if you are interested ~

Hi,
Yea I was looking at different ways to ship to see which would be safest, I think registered and insured is the way to go. After bitcointalk was hacked and accounts and passwords stolen, I dont escrow anymore, I just cant bring myself to do it. And sending away my gold without payment is not an option.
So the only thing I can offer is to maybe send a copy of my ID (driver license or something) to the buyer for some peace of mind, whatever it takes.

 ~ Thanks

I PMed him with the same concerns.  He understands but we is also very wary of people on here.  It is sort of a catch-22 situation.  I suggested he use a reputable escrow to handle the transaction.

Yes I know, Unfortunately it is the way it has to be. It's going to be hard to trust anyone here I suppose. Does not matter who it is, Im just doing what I can to stay afloat.
So, if someone is interested, and to my terms then great... if not, then it's ok, wasn't meant to be.

Incredibly tempting, however with no escrow options, its really not a great deal. Please reconsider your view on escrow, maybe look around and find a suitable option?

Maybe take note that 2 Hero and a Staff member posted on here but you will not accept escrow or deal with them directly.   You are really causing yourself more effort than needs be.  The attitude that someone either sends me $3,000+ before I ship it is isn't meant to be is an incorrect manner to handle this transaction.  Not that I am accusing you of anything but other people who took the same stance usually were trying to rip someone off.  Think about it.

Again I understand, it's no effort on my part, I just put up and ad is all. Like I said if there is a buyer out there, great, if not, I'll move on. Atleast people on this board will have a chance at what I am trying to sell.
I know people probably wont buy without an escrow, but its so hard to do that at this point, with all the hacking going on. Im trying to sell them on here because I need the money at this point, if I cant sell them here, i'll just have to sell them at the local pawn unfortunately. But I cant afford to lose them.
 ~ Thanks

I tried to think of other options, but, if this dosent work out, Ill just have to pawn them (sell to a dealer or something) I wanted to avoid that first by trying to sell on here. I can only talk to the buyer, show who I am.... So, if theres a buyer, great, if not, I tried.

Maybe try for a local trade? Less problems that way.

Why not do a multi sig escrow.  Unless OP thinks that 2 or 3 long time members here will collude to steal from him.

Go to a local rare coins shop, a pawn broker will rip you off usually.
