Hi,
I have the same question, becouse you could have lots of alt coins, each one with their respective price.
But I do also see, that when BTC difficulty increases, and bitcoins change drastically the diff, the  BTC price increases, due to this, alt coins, do also change the price.
Is this correct??

seems like ppcoin has moved up a bit, I think from around $.40 to $.58
