To Vitalik Butterin:
Are you kidding? Instead of keeping your promise for Ethash being ASIC resistant, you are happy with Bitmain's attack because of your beloved Casper? Is it a joke?
Actually it is no surprise, a boy who is bored and can't wait to play with his new toy, I understand, but your dad should have done better in raising you to be a bit more responsible, you are now a grown up boy, aren't you?
Ethereum is not your playground, do you understand? Thousands of people are risking their whole life on it and you are just making fantasies about a stupid, unproven, vulnerable to socioeconomic factors  (which you have no clue about, what? You got degrees in economics and sociology too? Besides being a junior programmer? Really? ) algorithm. I'm talking about Casper and your childish 'slasher' ... you know what? Just STFU Angry

To Ethereum community:
It is a shame! Are you out of your minds? It was not such a 'great' job to propose a Turing complete machine against an already working finite state machine and guess what, it was not the golden kid who proposed it first! It was just about getting sponsorship and being funded. Stop exaggerating and making a pop star from an average programmer.

Anyway, I don't care, I'll fork asap.

I'm prepared for the PoW algorithm tweak to make it a nightmare for Bitmain.

Go ahead and fork, I doubt you will gain much market cap traction without Vitalik.

Although I disagree with Vitalik in regards to the fork, I do appreciate that he takes the long term view with the best interests of Ethereum and can give two shits for the short term price of ETH. As a miner, I'm losing too on Bitmain but it is what it is.

Vitalik can't have a 'long term view' at all he has not enough long history to have such a vision, he doesn't think out of the box, forget about him and other celebrities, it is not a show for the god sake!

Ethereum will be destroyed after migrating to PoS, be sure, no PoS based blockchain can survive unlimited number of versions of 'nothing at stake' and 'long range' attacks, imo.
The foolish 'slasher' proposal or the blocked deposit requirement proposed by this kid just make me laugh but even they have managed to do some magic and find a way to get a stable ecosystem with their Casper, it won't be Ethereum, it shouldn't be Ethereum, it is not fair, it is a 100% violation of the contract, the white paper.

Vitalik and his band are just pop stars, the irresponsible types. They say: "let Bitmain take over the real, legitimate Ethereum, we will run away by migrating to Casper some day"... excuse me? We have paid you folks to protect the network from such attacks and you are just bullshitting on us?  Shocked

Ethereum Classic was a fork that happened in a rush and it is working and I know guys who do believe in it far more than Eth and its idol. I'll do a way better job than etc folks, you'll see  Wink

Just check my post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3286898.0
Not a breakthrough but a very serious threat because of the price.

You will fork and so what ? Do you expect people to follow you ? Do you expect the market and the entire ETH community to follow you just because you're unhappy with the ASICs stepping into this project too ? ETH will go POS anyway so I don't care.

We will see what happens next. I'm not a prophete (neither you are) but I think it is a very serious fork because Vitalik and his Foundation has gone too far by failing to do their job about Ethash.

Actually they are betraying Ethash by leaving it alone to be swallowed by the whales. They won't be forgiven for this betrayal and I have plans for a 'slasher' protocol to punish them and teach them a lesson (on behalf of their parents  Grin ) and will make it as part of the fork. They deserve it.

The community will stand with me, and I'm ready to follow whoever is a better programmer than myself (doubt it thou  Tongue), I'm not and I hate to be an older version of Vitalik Buterin and I believe in one simple basic rule formulated by some guy  (I'll share his name once I managed to remember):
The first and the most important characteristic  rule for a system that deserves to be called a persistent system: being capable to survive and function in case of infinite absence of its creator(s).

Ethereum doesn't need these guys to survive and it is not a reliable persistent system if it does.
