How much lost bitcoin do you think there is? I mean wallets that have been forgotten about, people who have died etc
And are these coins every recoverable or lost forever?

They are lost forever and I think it is estimated at around 3,000,000 lost Bitcoins. It is impossible to get an exact number.

What can you do if someone you know dies and you know he had some BTC. What can you do? Can the family get it or what? |

I think this is very hard to recover any wallet if somebody dies. |

I think 50% of users of bitcoin and other token coins, beginning in 2009, lost their wallets.
Know the history, when man before his death, wrote the data from your bitcoin wallet and handed the note to his wife.
On the balance sheet were 5 bitcoins.
