I just sent 600ish coins to mtgox quite a while ago. The coins are still 0 unconfirmed. Generally im used to getting at least one confirmation in a some what timely fashion.

Should I be worried or is this normal?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

When did you sent the transaction?
Did you sent it with a fee, or without it?
How many connections your Bitcoin client has?

No fee.
Hmmm... I didn't got such an amount yet, but I advise you to be more patient without fees. Wink

I was going to sell them to have play money for the weekend. I'm going to flip if I miss a price dip because my coins were too busy floating around in bitcoin space.
