They give these crypto YouTubers a score to indicate their "credibility?" I guess
It also has a scammer list

In my opinion, these people are just regular people expressing their personal opinions, there should not be any credibility nor should they have a lot of influence.

Well anyhow, just find that interesting to see what's your opinion on if you trust these crypto "influencers" and if you do, what are some good influencers that you follow, would like to see what they have to say.

I think it's possible to trust in this topic only really familiar people and it is desirable that they were experts in the topic, and of course you still need to trust yourself ..)

Definitely not. Never trust anyone in the crypto space, mainly if the user is a "influencer" that probably got paid to shill an ICO or shitcoin.

Some of them really care about helping the new investors, but the majority of them will accept the first "shill X ICO" offer that they get once they get big.

Well, the problem with many Youtubers is about the money they perceive for doing some statement.
Besides, who is giving them credibility? I mean: in this website, you can search for "credible ones", but if they mention the website, then, are they becoming credible?
The problem with influencers is related to their own name: influence. They can influence people, but few of them openly speaks about why or how are they obtaining the information or the opinion they share.
It becomes more and more problematic as much subs they have, for they have many offers to make some profitable videos. They are just like actors in a commercial, but with the difference, they don't mention their employees very often.
Nevertheless, it is easy to detect whose Youtubers are getting paid for their opinions. Well, of course, it is easy only if you are deeply into the crypto world, but, to the average population it can't be so easy, and that's where the trick resides. They can influence many people, and few go down and read the comments below the video, so it is difficult for average people to become a critic.

I've taken a look at the page you suggested and many of them are clearly influencers with a wallet full of contracts. So, no. Do not trust this.

never trust anyone especially if it said by someone famous usually they are getting paid to promote something. to know the market sentiments look for the hype it is mostly talked about in forum facebook groups, always remember trend/hype is your friend.

Personally I do not like the word "influencer" as it is not well-defined, and is often used by scamers to hide their real purposes.  Anyone can claim s/he is an "influencer" without any qualification nor responsibility, trying to prey upon people who are new to crypto world.  Do not trust them.

That site is really just an "influencer" on crypto "influencers" lmao. Both can be shills and you'd be none the wiser. It doesn't really even rate credibility.

But yeah, you typically should trust no one when it comes to (very specific) investment advice. General guidelines on how to go about trading should be fine, but even that should be scrutinized first. What you need to know about crypto is a lot of things relating to price movement is guesswork. What makes you think they can guess better than you do?

Nah. Almost every single one of them is full of shit and clueless to boot. It's very depressing to see these nothings gather huge followings and the resulting influence over them when they have contributed or achieved fuck all.

Very, very few are in this for the good of humanity. They want to pile up as much money as possible in as short a time as possible with little thought as to how they do it. And there's no shortage of morons willing to enable them.

You have to be very careful. There are scammers, but also a lot of well meaning people with loud opinions and egos who don't necessarily know what would be best for you.

There is definitely a need for solid and objective cryptocurrency education. For that, I recommend DNotesEDU.com. This week, they are running all kinds of contests and giveaways, including hiding DNotes private keys on their website. There are a couple threads about it in the Beginners and Help section. Even when they are not giving away DNotes, you can count on DNotesEDU being objective and factual. Their goal is to provide a place where people can really learn and not be scammed or in any way pressured into any particular "investments."

As far as who to trust, I personally don't care if they are a big name or not. I look at what they are actually accomplishing and if they are willing to share what they know. The people I most respect in this industry, many of them aren't well known yet, but they are building solid projects.

For good examples of solid cryptocurrency projects, check out DMD Diamond, DNotes and NEM. I believe those projects are all in it for the long haul and will accomplish great things, not to mention all the coins are way undervalued right now.

I think we can listen to their advice. That's cool as long as you do your own research. If you think that project is great and hear it from some of the well known people, it only boosts your confidence.
