Devs, nice project.  I wish you the best of of luck!

A couple of suggestions:

First, nice website redesign.  Much more user-friendly.  Smiley

Under the "Solace Coins Vision" section, you outline a nice 'Use Case' scenario.  If I were a newbie reading that, I would have thought, "Sounds good.  How do I start?".  A link at the end of that section to 'Getting Started' would be helpful.

The miners listed in the Getting Started site are for intermediate/advanced level miners and would be a difficult entry point into the mining world.  How about offering user-friendly software with a GUI?

Like these:

Simple Miner

https://github.com/SimpleMinerTeam/SimpleMiner

XMRGUI
http://xmrgui.com/
https://github.com/crocokyle/XMRGUI

Great job so far, gentlemen!

Hi there,

Thank you for the kind words.

We are currently working on our GUI wallet, and it should be available within the next few days. There are a few minor bugs currently. I like the idea with a user-friendly GUI miner, thanks for the tip, we will certainly think of doing it. We are still doing some minor updates and changes on the website that should be done fairly soon.

Regards
Leon

Hello Miner.
Did you open up your solace-wallet-cli before running solaced?
Are you lonely and staring at a 0 coin balance that won't update?
You might have a corrupted wallet!
Follow the steps below to recover your wallet balance. All coins mined under the corrupted wallet are safe and you can continue to use the wallet address to mine with.
1. Close the wallet and daemon (solaced)
2. Start wallet without daemon, it will give an error.
3. Inside the wallet type seed than enter, then enter wallet file password
4. Copy into notepad the 25 words that the wallet gives you in order
5. Close wallet and move all 3 wallet files to different place (Backup) [wallet][wallet.address][wallet.keys]
6. Start cmd, (Windows+r) then go to the folder where solace-wallet-cli.exe is
7. Then type: solace-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet
8. Enter your new wallet name. This must be different than your previous wallet name.
9. Confirm with Y.
10. Type the 25 seed words you were given earlier.
11. Type in 0 when asked to restore from blockchain height.
12. Start solaced.
13. If your balance doesn't automatically start updating with transactions, then type refresh into your cli.
Donatation to test my wallet: So2NCcRY18F9UCVEi8GLBefifUC9WgFHJbtRM31ipRtt9Fgf6b5YkP2jMNyhdCy7a6gGmXo6EgN9SYM gDmNwLn1X1kDHmtNik

what is going wrong with my rigs? My rigs almost can not create daemon due to local host can not found. How to fix this problem?
Anyone help will be highly appreciated.

You don't need to have the daemon on every rig. You just need to have a single wallet address for either XMR-Stak, Claymore, or XMRig to use.

Localhost not being found is a network error on your end. You may need to restart your router and/or your rigs.

Hi Dev,

I'll like to know what happens when Cryptonight-Heavy Fork takes place at Block 10,000 for Solace...

- do we continue to use our existing CLi wallet and address?
- does xmr-stak 2.4.2 still works for mining?

Thank you.

XMR-Stak by fierce v 2.4.2 already has cryptonight-heavy
just change cryptonight for cryptonight-heavy in pools.txt
"currency" : "cryptonight-heavy",

same for XMrig v 2.6.0 b1 and newer but change for cryptonight-heavy in config.json
"algo": "cryptonight-heavy"

edited: XMRig-Nvidia v 2.6.0 b1 has CNv7 and CN-H
