If you are inexperienced and just want to get started, I recommend sticking with the more well known and established cryptocurrencies. I suggest diversifying by buying some Bitcoin and a couple of altcoins but choose altcoins in or near the top 10 in market cap. i think as a beginer, you should choose an altcoins which has already in top 20, safe and popular to investors to start trading because you choose an altcoin at the first time should be more stable than any other altcoins, i suggest you should choose ETH or Ripple because they are one of the most popular altcoins on the market, and when they are fluctuative, we won't loss to much profit and they are easily recover in the future.
