I dont understand why dev already launch MN? The network is too small for the nodes to help. 17к+ block already. Dev, this is bad start with scam element.
In general, think for yourself, but I pass. Sad

well, this is kinda "completely unique coin" with trending new algo, now it is X16r, then it would X16Sbut... if dev will do the job well and the coin will be listed on exchange, the mining time could be paid off
we already got a damn bunch of new X16S (Eden and Pidgen) and X16R (RaVeN) coins at bsod and gos.cx so that's not unique. And one could use any other both ASIC and Nicehash resistant algo sort of C11. Mostly such coins cost peanuts and don't even justify the cost of electricity. Only one exception was some several hours of EXVO right from the start cuz the pool was sort of broken and no Nicehash came to dig lyra2rev2 coin Grin

usually that happens... probably they took the Raven wallpaper or something and changed some values. Once I've noticed the guys took Gobyte's ANN thread and they forgot to change the coin ticker so that said 'GBX' Cheesy

I think you misunderstood the meaning of "token" in crypto space. A token is something that is built on top of other cryptocurrency like Ethereum or Waves. What you have here is called "coin"

no it's a coin but its name has 'token' in it because there's some meaning in it. A token as 'a voucher that can be exchanged for goods or services, typically one given as a gift or forming part of a promotional offer.' and a letter 'n' probably means either 'node' like in MN or just means 'new' as in 'yet another coin sort of those at Coinsmarkets that you can't even sell because they're delisted anywhere else' Grin

Is there any hope that this is not another junk?
I guess this coin has dev that's Full Member. Not many devs can have such title. Now nobody is able to rank up at all so Full Member is really honorable title and when he sez BANQ dev is a scammer that doesn't pay signature bounty and Rampant along with Innoket are scammers that don't pay twitter bounty people usually tend to listen. But I know Gobyte are decent ppl. I still get me some Ke$h from my 10% of a MN. Not whaley in any way but it still works

Doesn't this commit https://github.com/nToken/ntoken-core/commit/ec464466b9aabffee916697df0a9788b52d2b980 make the chain inherently insecure?

Contrary to the emboldened above, that line of thought is not 100 percent correct as there are some old members in here that has and manages bunch of accounts at various levels before the implementation of the merit system. There are people here that owns up 30 undeclared alternate Bitcointalk accounts at various levels that they are not afraid of loosing even a legendary account. So never say never! Until the dev brings something on the table that will make the project appear a little less scammy, I wouldn't blame anybody tagging it a scam. We have all seen a lot of things happen in this crypto ecosystem
