Hi since many people here are new to Bitcoin, I think it would be interesting to know about what people plan to do in the Bitcoin world.

Some questions I think might be interesting to know:

  • How long have you owned bitcoins?
About a week for me.

  • How much have you been spending your bitcoins?
I payed for a vpn the day i got my first coins Grin, nothing since.

  • Are you saving bitcoins in the hope they go up?
Yes I plan to put in about $7000 and hold it.

  • Do you currently, or plan to, start bitcoin related businesses or accept them in your existing businesses in the near future?
Yes, but nothing concrete yet, thinking about what I could do.

  • What industry/background are you from?
Engineering/Development

How long have you owned bitcoins?
Couple of weeks.

How much and for what have you been using bitcoins in transactions/payments?
Holding at the moment, not really using them for much at the moment.

Are you saving bitcoins in the hope they go up?
Yes, in the *hopes* the market for it seems shoddy, up and down like a yo-yo.

Do you currently, or plan to, start bitcoin related businesses or accept them in your existing businesses in the near future?
I was hoping to start a new business soon for web-hosting, already had success with an old business and sold it, so hoping to create something a little yet more spectacular.

What industry/background are you from?
IT Specialist.

I've had some bitcoins since 2010. I don't transact often outside of occasion mid-term trading. Although, during times like the past few days, I do a bit of day trading, too. I play bitcoin poker on Seals with Clubs. Indeed, I am saving coins for the future. I don't plan to sell most of my coins until several years from now.

naw, not if it is mainly a store of value like gold. people don't generally use gold / PMs to pay for things like they to with currency.

I purchased my first 0.5 BTC a little over a day ago.

Because I technically don't possess them yet (the transaction will hopefully clear come Monday), I haven't spent any yet. That, and I want to purchase and have a decent amount of BTC simply to hold before I spend a whole lot.

I'm neither a business owner nor a provider of a paid service, but if I were ever to be in that position I would certainly consider accepting Bitcoin.

I have a background in software engineering (go figure!).

EDIT: Apparently my coins are coming through from Coinbase on Monday, as in November 18th. This isn't exactly a quick process, is it?

Check out Localbitcoins.com to trade cash for btc locally. Much faster and usually the price is pretty comparable depending on where you live.
