NiceHash miner 2.0.2.1 not working

I have tried to install Nicehash miner 2.0.2.1 and it just will not work.

It get stuck on starting excavator services.

I did what was suggested on the internet by disabling antivirus and also downloading the excavator from github, but the best I get is that Nicehash starts bench marking and then fails.

What is happening. If I download the a previous version (2.0.1.11) it works fine.

Any help would be great, as this it is very annoying and the newer version works with CryptonightV7

Download version 1.9.0 alpha. It supports Cryptonight V7. I tried it since yesterday night and in V7 it is not more profitable than mining Ethereum or Zcash. You can check for yourself though as you may have other graphic cards than those that I have and maybe are more efficient about mining Monero. I think you must have Vegas since you want to mine V7.

I tried the Alpha version and still the same.

Had the same issues on a new rig. Nicehash miner didnt start, tried the Leagcy version, and it didnt work with a meaasge that my drivers are too old. So only clean OS reinstallation helped, after that it works just fine.
Oh, and Nicehash doesnt need Windows Defender deactivated, works fine with it.

unless you're using Vega cards, ETH will be more profitable than XMRv7.

also i noticed that since NH is using XMR-stack, hashrates aren't nearly as good as you could get mining directly with a better miner like Cast or Claymore. my 6x570+2x580 rig only pulled about 5KH/s on V7, when projections claimed i should have been closer to 5.5KH+.

since you're using 2.0.2.1, you must be using nvidia cards, since 2.0+ no longer support AMD cards.
if you have AMD cards, thats your problem, and you need to download the 1.90 alpha release for v7.

but at the end of the day its not worth it, just go back to minng ETH.

i keep getting the white screen of death. go to load nicehash and is stuck on white screen. have tried mulitple versions, no resolution. this is only happening one of my rigs. any ideas how to fix this?
