Hello , i'm new in this word and I always like a risk. I bought 3 miners from this site:
http://bitcoinvalley.ca/mining/cointerra-terraminer-ii-1th-s-networked-asic-miner.html

Is this legit? some say they are out of stock till feb 2014??

I dont mind losing money. Its just for fun. And If I have profit its always good.

Since it says in stock, and does not mention delivered in future I would not spend money on it.

The strange thing is that cointerra announced that they taped out a few days ago, while the store you pointed to says the device is in stock. It looks suspicious. Also, the cointerra takes preorders for Terraminers IV with a Feb delivery performing at 2Th/s and at price of $5999.

Edit: two links to support the said above: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=328634.msg3524994#msg3524994  http://cointerra.com/product/terraminer-iv-2ths-networked-asic-miner-february-batch/

There were no old batch. The tapeout (the production of the silicon) was completed a few days ago.

Update: TerraMiner II – 1TH/s, Networked Miner (January 2014 Batch)

CoinTerra has recently fired back at the competition with the announcement of the TerraMiner II. This ASIC Bitcoin miner comes in at 1TH/s or (1000 GH/s) and will be one of the highest mining speeds on the market. Looks like they have raised the bar for the retail consumer (average Joe) on this one.

The unit will weigh in at about 27lbs and come self-configured, and  plug and play ready with the companies signature GoldStrike1 technology.

Price: $3,499

How it could be traded now for $1999 if the original price was $3499?

ITT I realized a correlation between people who probably shouldn't be buying hardware (due to a lack of even the most basic research) and people who use THz or GHz to refer to hashing speed.

Yeah, you've lost money, I don't know how fun it is, but you'll never see anything from them. They're selling items that don't exist for starters.

You can't believe someone online might be looking to lie to you and steal thousands of dollars?  Really?  My guess is you are playing the "dumb noob" to promote the site because honestly nobody is that dumb.

BTW, if you paid with CC, then run to your bank and initiate a charge back (tell them a story that your young kid stole your CC and did this purchase, or whatever)

I also find it odd someone who has enough BTC to pay for $5,700 of equipment should know a little bit about the hardware they are buying.
