This is the motherboard I picked up for a second rig (AMD). Im using a 7th Gen Celeron Processor for this that supports 2133 DDR4 Ram, which the motherboard supports. The RAM I bought doesn't fit. It's 288 pin, but the little cutout doesn't match up right. I want to order another stick, but I want to make sure I get it right.

Motherboard: http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=865

RAM: https://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Signature-Frequency-2133MHz-PC4-17000/dp/B07351P9GD/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1523489600&sr=8-12&keywords=DDR4+Ram+2133

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Correct sir, that's the type of ram you should buy. About the problem first ram you've bought, have you komplin to the shop / seller ? , as far as I know if it's a 288 pin ram, it can be installed without problems. Smiley
