Can anyone explain me what is a "Bitcoin Faucet"?
HT
It was meant to introduce Bitcoin to people in the begining, but now it has grown into a source of income for people who use faucet rotators to maximize their income from it. The best source of income through a faucet, is from the refferal network, and if it's done well, could provide you with a weekly passive income. That part is explained in detail here --> http://www.bitbiz.io/threads/the-value-of-a-faucet-referral-network.689/

They will not be around for long or they are scamming people. These kind of faucets have been around for some time now. They promise huge payouts and unlimited coins and then they never pay out. They take the adverticement income and they run away, to just pop-up somewhere else, with a NEW name and the same promises. Make sure if you are using a faucet, that they show proof of payment and that the proof date back for 1 or 2 years or more. It's in these instances that people get burned, and they stop using faucets in total. I know a lot of faucet owners and I am currently involved in creating a NEW one, and I can tell you, it would take a huge personal capital investment to fund a faucet, with no cooldown period. Let's see if I am wrong. .... I will have some of my friends test it.

@Kprawn, how fast does ad money start flowing in a new faucet? Just thinking the first 30 days is the most difficult, unless you have your own microwallet, and lots of people never meet the min to claim.

Even earnings from commissions! You might have missed the or in my statement. They are either scamming or they are giving too many Satoshi to be around for a long time. How long do you think a faucet can be sustainable, if it has no cooldown period and say 1 000 000 people starts using it? {Remember freebitco.in has 1,165,107 registered members} We will see if I am wrong.

Is BTC-flow flow rate different between tabs as most of you know flow rate of the BTC-flow faucet varies a lot at different times. But I noticed it sometimes varies between tabs that are opened at different times (sometimes declared numbers are the same but one is obviously faster while other times even numbers are different) So it makes sense to open a new tab every now and then and kill the slower one. Has anybody else noticed that?

Nice faucet (I got 1 mBTC here), but please, don't hide your referral links under URL shorteners. This is your link: https://btc-flow.com/r/e86c5587beWhy do you hide it? The counter that you see is only a local script, a gimmick. 0.000012 BTC / 0.0000015 BTC/min = 8 min. Claim every 8 min and don't look the counter.
