The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

No, not to Bitmain.  You pay Bitmain the price on the website and then you pay whatever customs fee/tax/VAT your country charges to the courier (UPS,DHL).  The amount will be based on the declared value.

Is Bitmain responding to anyone either via the message system here or via email?

I've got 1/3 of payments collected for a U2 order but nobody really wants to move funds until Bitmain updates us on the status of the U2.  The website says shipping should have started yesterday, two other members appear to have either units in-hand or in transit now, and we're stalled due to lack of communication.

they have been pretty quiet for 2-3 days now, other than to state they are packing up S2 units.  I imagine they are working pretty hard on that since its a bit of a step up from small psu-less devices

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Can someone help me I have placed an order on bitmaintech.com and I sent the bitcoin the address to pay for the order but it didnt get confirmed untill a little after the hour window of time bitman site allows. So what happens to the money I sent them? My order status is still Unpaid Unshipped
Expired. I did email them but no reply.

I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but you're money is gone and you won't be receiving anything.  You've been scammed!

Actually, no, you haven't been scammed.  If you spend a little time reading through the various Bitmain threads you will find that this is standard practice and happens routinely.  The information won't be updated until well after the device has been shipped.

If you want to really make some good money find a way to easily "wash" the btc into hard currency for the Chinese at a 20-25% premium

Bitmain will have bit of an issue cashing out.... So basically china is pretty much screwed for making machines now ? Whos the bank to say which transaction is BTC ?

Bitmain has 19,923.1417104 BTC in his main wallet sure they will need to act soon ? Cash out in the EU or Outside China then import the money ?

Kinda money laundering but you cant just earn the hard money then be told no it cant be spent in china.

I have noticed the drop and been aware of the china market but geez

well they know coz u cash out threw exchange, so basicly there is a short trace..... I think this will be only temporary since one of measures that some will take is to open accounts in Hongkong banks and cash out that way... This isnt 1st time that China bans bitcoin so we all got used to it... Price may drop a bit more but then it will most probably skyrocket since big wolves are buying now on noobs

The price drop is KnC Sam dumping 1000 BTC every day on the small exchanges.

No it isn't. The way it is, is that KnC mines about 1/4 of the network and dumps all their BTC on the exchanges every day.

If it is easier to blame them for this be my guest I dont really care but speculations on april 15. started this mess.... Anyways date is near so wi will see.

Listen to Kano.  He's right.  KNC is the dumping whale right now.

Not to be the FUD train and hijack this, but seriously people, pop the idealistic bubble and look at the real world.

Trading activity and behavior changed significantly after Gox shut down.  Until then, multiple exchanges could easily be used for the pump/dump fraud scheme that the evidence is pointing towards Gox pulling to try and save itself.  Who knows if there were other players riding that wave.  Now people are very timid to purchase because the only thing you hear is bad news about BTC and how it is harder and more annoying to use every single week.  The Chinese exchanges see major activity mainly because they have low to no fees, meaning margin trading is huge.  I only do my trading on Chinese exchanges now because of this.

Otherwise, nobody new is buying in, so when Sam dumps on the market, the market takes it and the price continues to go down because there is no confidence in it going up.  Why should it?  These are the growing pains of a technology, where the a-hole companies like BFL, Avalon and their chip drama, KNC, etc., will all cash out in the short term, but the net result is reliable companies like Bitmain who have been consistently delivering could be in a world of shit from the gov't blowback.  After all, if BTC only brings bad press, why should gov't treat it friendly?
