How to understand the differences between Bitcoin and Altcoin crashes

After the sharp decline in Cryptocurrency market capitalists this year, interest in blockchain technology has been reduced.

my question is why big assets like Bitcoin have overcome the storm better than altcoin?

Help me understand how and why they can recover.
