It's a good news that governments around the world are exploring the possibilities of blockchain technology through mainstream adoption. But we also have to keep in mind that it does not talk about bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. We already know that blockchain has immense possibilities, it is just we need organized efforts to recognize those. I hope UAE government will set some good examples of blockchain use to the rest of the world.

Unrelated but the way the author has mentioned "his highness" everytime, is laughable in context of the rest of the world.

If this will be in action on 2012, UAE is another progressive country and I can't wait to see that this country will start adopting blockchain technology.

This will make it's neighbor countries follow their action about adopting blockchain and what's good in it is they can see the advantage of adopting the tech.

If it can save a lot of money from their government this will surely be loved by the government officials and can also help the crypto market in purpose.

That is such a good news . Blockchain is finally getting some good recognition .
Blockchain was actually made to make things easier and more efficient . This is true that it would save a lot of time for so many purposes if used in a proper way by the people and in business . Moreover , this might also initiate the progress of crypto currency acceptance around the country.

That is such a good news . Blockchain is finally getting some good recognition .
This is certainly not the first instance where blockchain is used as there are many governments who are against bitcoin have accepted the technology behind blockchain and it wont be the last, UAE government is always proactive than the rest of the gulf regimes and it is a really good initiative, but it has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Yes, its really good to see that they are already considering blockchain technology to be adopted and would be used because they do able to see the benefit that it gives.Second, you are actually right that it has nothing to do with bitcoin and other altcoins in the market which means its not really related at all when we do talk about price effects but somehow they would really gain idea that cryptocurrencies do exist and possibly might consider to engage with it.Its their choice on doing such thing or not. Sooner or later we would able to see more news similar to this one which a country do recognize blockchain technology.

we've heard about UAE adopting Blockchain some time ago, and it turns out they are planning some strategies for the next few years to improve their economy and their quality of life. This strategy is based on some basic principles, focusing on government efficiency, advanced legislation, and global entrepreneurship. Their plan to create a special bitcoin pasae will begin to be realized.

That's the beauty of Blockchain technology because its really change how data is being save and stored. It can literally saved millions (in the case of UAE billions worth) of dollars. The only drawback is that it can also reduce employment because they don't need to hire people just to go on that documents because the technology will handle everything. But its all good if government can save billions and channel that funds to more productive used to help their people (although they are very rich nation.)

This is by far the best report I have read concerning the adoption of blockchain in recent times. UAE has been known to be a forward thinking government in every areas especially Dubai taking the forefront in any development shaping the future. The differentiating factor here is that its backed with objective, calculative and measurable benefit that cannot be refuted as against those vague benefit being circulated in other climes that are considering the adoption of blockchain technology.

Not only that, actions are being taken, contracts are signed, firms are being enlisted coupled with supports to be provided that cuts across every levels of the society. This is another confirmation that blockchain is here to stay while bitcoin will continue to flourish along side.

This is another confirmation that blockchain is here to stay while bitcoin will continue to flourish along side.

It was never even doubted for a second that the blockchain wasn't going to stay here. Whether it concerns businesses or governments, the blockchain allows them to do everything they do in a far more efficient, and more importantly, secure and cheaper way. It's impossible for anyone to ignore these tech related developments, especially if you think about how these entities can all configure their blockchains to their liking.

Bitcoin, especially in these countries, might eventually become that what Gold is right now, but in a far superior and usable way. Imagine them conducting massive government related transactions based on Bitcoin, especially when it comes international transfers. Bitcoin means there are no borders that everything else is subject to and limited by. We have solid times ahead of us man, I seriously enjoy every second of it, and eagerly look forward to what still has to come towards us, which is plenty. Cheesy

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a ‘UAE Blockchain Strategy 2021’, aiming to conduct 50% of government transactions at the federal level using blockchain technology by 2021.

“This technology will save time, effort and resources and enable individuals to conduct most of their transactions in a timely manner that suits their lifestyle and work,” he added.

The strategy includes four pillars focusing on: 1) citizen and resident happiness; 2) government efficiency; 3) advanced legislation; and 4) global entrepreneurship.

Well, thanks to blockchain technology, we can facilitate the development and success of every project in many fields, that's why many countries (like, UAE.. ) have become aspiring to benefit positively from this technology, but in a long term (after a few years) due there are many problems related to cryptcourrencies in the previous years and until now, and unfortunately, there is not much development in this period because many governments do not want to recognize bitcoin and the digital currencies and they want to destroy them through some bad attacks, that's why the market in a total decline .

Plus, I think that the UAE government has a good strategy to benefit from Blockhain in a good way, and it is reasonable and normal that this country wants to achieve this scheme or project after 3 years (2021), Now we live in the era of technology, and Blockchain is the appropriate to do many things and it helps to improve the economy of the country.

Blockchain technology has been proven that it is very strong against cyber attack like DDoS, computer hacking and other cyber threat. This is why the technology was adapted by most of the poweful countries like the US pentagon because they believed that the capabilities of the technology is very strong and reliable. So no doubt that many more countries will be in the news as they are all proud that they are using this technology.

As one progressive country like UAE using blockchain will boost the adaptation and awareness of the world about this technology.. It might not be visible on market price for indication of huge numbers of new investors,, but in the long run one country to another this will be significant already..

What country are next in line to implement this upgrade,, soon we will know..

Its really very good that government around the world is taking part inbitcoin technology. Bitcoins are becoming world famous day by day and youth of all countries are taking part in cryptocurrencies. that the only reason that government is taking intrest in cryptocurrencies and make it legal .in my counrty blockchain technology is illegal but hope that it will become legal very soon.
