never listen to what other people say, at least before vetting for yourself. there is always a bear for every bull, so how would you make your decisions when you are hearing valid points from both sides?

It always go back up at some point. Selling now may mean missing an oppotunity.
I sold my very first BTC at 70$ thinking it was pretty good, about what a week later? We hit the 200$ mark.
That is when I relaized the true potential of the BTC

... if you don't have the private key you don't have any Bitcoins (ask the users of Input.io, Bitcoinica, bitfloor, instawallet, etc, etc, etc).

It it possible to have money without government intervention.
As a socialist, I always found it amusing that the neo-conservatives claim that The "free market" can be used to reduce government intervention. The "free market" does not exist without government intervention.
Money is one piece of the puzzle. The court system/dispute resolution is another.

The "free market" does not exist without government intervention. The free market is what you get *without* government intervention.

The One Thing Bitcoin Has Taught Me ... is that even when presented with clear evidence of how governments and central banks devalue currency, and even when there's a great alternative currency that no government can devalue in that way, and even when you're talking to people who actually come to you asking for ways to make money online - they still run away from anything they don't understand.

Never trust any government for the value of your money.
All FIAT money goes down to zero one day. That's what History told us.
Quantitative Easing is the sign of it.
