Well you're right, ideally btc is good to hodl for long term and its proven by the early users to be profitable in the long run but its only applicable for investors who fully understand the nature of bitcoin. If you are weak investors who cant stand the dips then you might end up panic selling your coins.

Nevertheless anytime is a good time to buy and its not too late however if you want to timing the market then buy back after the price is declining.
