No cryptocurrency has as much attention as bitcoin or ethereum and they have therefore the Highest Value, but bitcoin is bad outdated tech now, and there are many better encription services now available than ethereum with lower transaction costs. and much less overrun by speculants that hold bag its gas, for the ico token holders, like waves, or neo. and more to come.

their attention superiority is however extremly difficult to defend in the long term, so people will desire stability and someone will come to bring it to them:

Violence and Oppression will then be the next much longer lasting and much stable value driver which will be desired by traders, merchants and their workers, thats how history of mankind always worked.

The Holocaust of the Nazis was a tool to establish a financial elite and delude subhuman cattle forced to sell their time to their national central banks,

now with millions of cryptocurrencies out there its just a matter of time till violence becomes the next tool to intruduce and enforce a CryptoCurrency

because the alternative to that would be a neverending increase of cryptomarketing in tv, internet and everywhere, all social media will be overgarbaged by the industry since everyone will think, oh easy money, lets join it.

i am afraid i am quite right on this one. where will it happen first?

regards

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

The common element from barter exchange to crypto evolution is trust. Human has always trusted something which is trusted as valuable by most of the humans. However, it is happening for the first time in the history of mankind that we are able to trust a group of unknown people around the world more than the familiar faces. The core of currency won't change but the format will keep changing over the time. Bitcoin is valuable because every user holding Bitcoin consider that it is valuable and this mass trust gives the value to the same.

There is no such thing as forever. In cryptocurrency, coins may come and go and eventually some will exist and be successful and others will be gone in the wind. This is the real nature of cryptocurrency, this implies that if people does not support a certain kind of coin the coin will lose its value and will die. Bitcoin and Ethereum also evolves in this trust system and as long as people will place their trust on this currency online it will stay at the top even with the existence of new cryptocurrency with much better feature.

outdated tech

How do you figure?  People all around the world are coding and developing to improve it right now.  The tech is constantly changing.  Just because every altcoin claims it has better tech in a desperate attempt to appear relevant or useful, doesn't actually mean the tech is superior.  All the marketing in the world isn't going to make me think the altcoins hold a greater value.  To flip your argument around, it's the altcoins who would require force or coercion in order for me to use them.  Bitcoin is leading the pack on merit.  It doesn't need violence or oppression.

Further, if violence and oppression were such effective tools, we'd all still be using only our nation-state mandated local currencies and Bitcoin likely wouldn't exist at all.  People often ignore their governments when they're told not to use Bitcoin.

Wait, so you're saying some entity is going to use or threaten violence to make people use a certain crypto? I hate to break it to you, but there are much more effective ways to use violence. It's not worth using if they're stopping at just that, when they can theoretically gain absolute or near-absolute control of pretty much every facet of life. The blowback simply wouldn't be worth the rewards.

In my opinion, the next driver would be utility. When crypto has established itself as a true alternative to fiat, the best and most widely accepted crypto is also the one most likely to be the most valuable. I don't know if Bitcoin is the best now but I do know that it aims to be, and it's currently the most widely accepted. Needless to say, I'm rooting for it.

its not a group or party that will become violent

it will be people defending themselves and their interest against current system, similar like bitcoin did against banksters

"bitcoin is freedom"
