Exclusive sources have been issued by Finance Magnates who dominated Facebook's social media to diversify its product line with its own cryptocurrency, the Facebook Coin (FBC). Users must register to use coins, but Facebook will guarantee that data and transactions will be completely anonymous.

However, its development is still not officially recognized, but for that coin will be issued using the Ethereum blockchain through ICO in the next two weeks. Given the size and coverage of Facebook, it is possible to assume that ICO will rival the 1.2 billion dollars raised by Telegram in its own rotation of the ingredients.
To be able to use the coin, the user must provide data such as name, address, phone number, mother's name and the name of the animal is too small. This is for the reason, the privacy written into the smart contract will ensure that all transactions are completely and can not be traced at all.

Uniquely, Facebook will advertise ICO on Facebook users. This is interesting, because the social media company recently banned all cryptocurrency ads on its platform. At the time, the product's managing director said that Facebook wanted to avoid "fraud", and the process of issuing new rules for cryptocurrency itself had naturally "raised eyebrows." However, there was no contradiction in its policy.

"Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads because too many of the companies engaged in cryptocurrency have committed fraud. This is exactly the same as Facebook ICO which is a legitimate way to get more data, which is necessary to find innovative digital coins, and this is not a scam, so there's no reason not to appear on the platform."

Do you remember facebook step banned crypto ads on its page. Then, why facebook make your own coin? Is this his name to lick his own saliva?

Great news. Well its Facebook own social media platform, they can do what ever they want with their platform since we are just freely using it. What’s more scary thing possible to happen after their banning of crypto-ads is that maybe they will ask for payment in our every post. Let’s just hope that will never happen though.  Grin
And regarding their ICO maybe all advertisement mostly on our wall are from their FBC coin I guess  Grin

I think it is not authentic news as nowhere on facebook it mentioned. Just a rumour or a fake news. If that kind of news come up from facebook then Bitcoin price will jump like a rocket.

I think this news has long been circulating and should the news you provide here should be in English, because this is a global board (not local). I'm not sure, if the team from facebook have not officially announced about ico they will make.

This is a good news for crypto lovers but FaceBook stand on banning crypto in their social media site and they launch their own coins is something not good. If they really want to compete with other crypto, they need to compete in the open forum, I think they are misusing their familiarity and way to acquire market in a selfish way. Anyway, FaceBook stepping into crypto is a positive sign.

Absolutely right, suckerberg learns how profitable cryptocurrency is thats why he banned the ico project ads in facebook for the same reason he wanted to advertise its own coin.this sucker really greedy accusing fraud to the competitors while the main objective is to create its own proven how greed it has to be.

How did you connect this news for the growth of bitcoin?sorry but i cant see any when this is a new ico and has nothing to do with bitcoin, maybe just because its a added contribution for the popularity of cryptocurrency but yet not with bitcoin itself

This was already guessed by many as Facebook google and Twitter banned cryptocurrecy related ads because they wanted to bring their own product. In other way it's good news for blockchain sector as the mainstream companies like Facebook, telegram, Kodak hopefully (Google and Twitter will aslo join) are realizing the power of blockchain and entering into market with their own ICOs.

Interestingly it turns out first they say that they will ban advertising about crypto currency, and then create their own token. It seems to me or it was a struggle with competitors, but after all such steps are not effective.

Rumors as it is, again and again... Well, if this rumor is true, it might be just a front concerning its recent scandal. Maybe the developer thinks that this will be a very good idea to divert all the bad news that boomed regarding with Trumps candidacy with Facebook as a side kick. It's all about gaining a lot of trust for the sake of its market stability.

Are there any more sources for this?

An article published in Futurism in January claimed that Facebook was considering launching its own cryptocurrency but no further details confirming this will actually occur have been revealed since

that's all rumors. Fabook is IPO company they can't do anything unclear to kill themself. And they're the top biggest company in IT industry so that's normal if they have any things research relate to blockchain but I'm sure they will not do a ICO

I don't believe this news, Facebook for now has so many things on their plate now than announcing their own ICO, this is a company that is well capitalised and now that they need to raise cash to support their company and make it afloat. I will need to check this out

I believe Facebook can structure its cryptocurrency so that the interests of all involved are met and exceeded. This includes the interests of Facebook shareholders, users, employees, and ultimately all of the participants in the Facebook Coin transaction economy.

that's something I still think about until now. although this issue is not yet clear. but, it is very visible that the facebook developers are hypocritical. he banned the crypto ad. but he made his own cryptocurrency

ICO is the modern way of begging for money!
otherwise none of the ICOs so far that sold coins and raised a lot of money needed that money to create their useless token and do nothing in the end. the good example here is Facebook, a multi million dollar company doesn't need to raise money to release a shitty token but they are seeing the option to get paid a lot of money for doing nothing and they are taking that option.

Where do you know this is fake news? this is an issue and not necessarily fake. Have you ever been informed by your friends that your family is ill? do you believe right away? surely you will find out the truth that your family is sick. do not immediately give the assumption that this news is false. but, should find out first. Now, that's just unfair. At first they ban all cryptocurrencies and lead to big problems of the market and then decide to make their own coin and release it via ICO!
They can indeed beat the Telegram ICO. However, not necessarily so. While facebook is used by a lot more than telegram, it is the latter whose users care about anonymity, cryptography and new technology. Moreover, making transactions via telegram makes a lot more sense than via facebook, since the latter has some security breaches.
