My deposit still not credited (5 confimations) and just found out in the reddit they have trouble with blockchain api 5 days ago and still today, http://xz.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1pmrp8/satoshigridcom/

I tried to contact them but the contact form required captcha but it does not have captcha field.

Joel was fully refunded it.

ncerj, can you PM the details: transactions, source address or destination address. There's not a player that hasn't been credited since we launched. I'm looking it inside the blockchain and all the players has their respective balances.

Can please point out why someone would deposit to play at this site ?

There are 10k squares and you have to pay 0.0013 BTC to open one of them to try to grab the 1 BTC prize. So your winning chance starts at 0.01%, the payout should be much higher or the price to open a square should be a lot lower. If there are only 2 squares left, is the same 1 BTC prize applied ? Then it makes even less sense to be the first to play, the prize should be adjusted according to how many squares are left. Of course all this is pointless if the operator is scamming.

The POT is going to grow after that the block number 1200 will be unlocked. We do this in order to recover our initial investment of 3 BTC. But all depends on how many instant prizes (x2, x5 or x10 prizes) appear.

After that, the POT is going to grow and his value is going to be 4.9 BTC in block #3000 , 13.1 BTC in block #5000 and more than 30 BTC when in block #8000.

Repeating, the POT is going to be freeze until we recover our initial investment of 3 BTC.

So you reward more when it is easier to find the the pot ? ...

You are confusing this with a typical lottery, where everyone has a very slim chance of winning but the prizes get higher when more people pay for the next drawing. Here the chances increase after the many early thousand bets, and then the prize should be lowered.

Yes, we reward more when is easier to find the POT. But as the POT grows  the the BID does too. But the POT only grows after the move 1200.

So early players have no reason to bet considering the prize given, the bet size, and the very low win chance. Late players have no reason to play because the bet is even higher. Why does anyone play ?

Early players have the chance to win 3 BTC by bidding only 0.001 BTC and late players can win more than 30 BTC by bidding more than 0.001 BTC of course, but come on.. what game gives somebody the opportunity to win 30 BTC in one hand ?

Early players have 0.01% win chance. A very late player has 1% win chance when there are only 100 blocks remaining. I'm not sure if you want me to answer the question or not, but are you aware of satoshidice ? From what I understood, you are not offering 30 BTC at any point for now, so why are you even mentioning it ? Even if you were, satoshidice and other competitors offer that amount at mucher higher win chances (of course you have to bet more then). If you want to bet less at a lower win chance, the mentioned site will give much higher prizes -- in the thousands of bitcoins. I don't understand what you tried to achieve with that question.
