I don't know if it's ready just yet. I think the chart ought to do something like this:

I recommend using a log graph for predictions like that.

Now that I had sleep, I realize that I was advocating a volatility evening strategy mentioned in another thread. In that strategy, you have a "purse" of 50:50 Bitcoin and another asset. As the price moves, you try to keep the exposure to both assets the same.

The difficulty with that strategy is that it assumes no or even price growth. Obviously that is not a valid assumption. To make money off the rise in value, you need a second "purse" (in cold-storage), where you simply buy and hold.

1BTC > $500 is my bet once this is all over.

It is never over. Adoption will continue, p2p paying system is unique, and will take market share out from paypal and WU in near future

I was thinking this last night (after I posted my bullish prediction)...

"What if everyone is expecting this rally, and it doesn't materialize?"

The ticker told me so.

I think we're at a point where people don't want to sell because they think its going higher and people don't want to buy because of the instability/volatility of the price (and the fact that its up 3x in a month).

Exactly, the price stays around the point of the last big drop because daily traders are affraid it won't go past that point and create sell walls, the price bounces down a bit and up again, but the wall is holding. Now either people start buying with confidence and break the wall or we there will be another correction. IMO the first one is more likely as BTC is booming.

I agree.

Something needs to happen to rock this boat.

No one is selling because they think we have ways to go; not many people buying because of the high price and fear of a correction.
